Perfect, spreadable butter.

This product has an amazing flavor and is easily spreadable. This is so much better than regular butter because it is soft and doesn't cut through your bread because it's so hard. I think this is a great alternative to regular butter because it spreads easily and tastes really good!

Land O Lakes butter is a great product to have for a side dish on potatoes and other products that we all like. Now I was a little hesitant on tasting a product that mixes butter and olive oil together. When I tasted this, It has a nice sweet taste and blends in good together. however there is a small downsize to this product. Land O Lakes as we all know always brings us delicious and high quality products, but this product is high on fat and cholesterol, but depending on how much you eat and use, you wont have any problems. Putting aside the fat and cholesterol, overall this is a excellent product to eat and taste, and it will surely satisfy your craving. From the beginning of the review, I mentioned that potatoes go good with butter and olive oil, in my opinion is the best food to eat with that. However with butter and olive oil, nothing beats delicious tasting pasta.

I think when a product has a claim in the title, it should actually live up to that claim. The product says on the package, in smallish letters, to let it sit out a bit to soften it up. I am a busy mom, and often meals are not planned out well in advance, so I need the items to do what they claim!! if I forget to grab the butter, its a pain to try to spread hard butter even on warm bread!! Not very impressed.

Are you annoyed everytime you try buttering baked goods, bread, toast, etc...because spreading the butter rips your food to pieces? Try **Land O'Lakes Butter with Olive Oil**. This is our favorite butter! Gone are the days of giant slabs of butter that don't melt fast enough to spread on your muffins, toast and other favorite foods. **Land O'Lakes Butter with Olive Oil **is not only easy to spread, but tasty too. We enjoy buying this butter in bulk when it's on sale and freezing it. Immediately after getting it out of the freezer, I have used this butter (not as soft as when it's thawed, but still useable). Once thawed it's just as soft as the original product, no change in texture. We use it to cook, bake, and make things just a little more tasty than before.

Land o'Lakes Butter with Olive Oil

I have used Land o'Lakes Butter in tub form and stick form for years and prefer it over any other tub or stick butter that I've ever used.  My mother always used margarine growing up but I always preferred butter even though butter was declared harmful when I was a child.  As I grew up, I couldn't understand how something natural could be harmful and something synthetic like margarine could be good for us.  So when I married and started keeping my own house, I bought butter, light butter when it came out.  I have used all types of Land o'Lakes including regular, light, canola, and olive oil.  I really like the Olive Oil because it is supposed to be healthier with 45% less saturated fat than regular butter.  I find it easy to spread, creamy and taste good.  I am lactose intolerant but I don't have any trouble when I use it even though it is made of sweet cream, salt and olive oil.  It has no transfats.  My only problem with the product is that it comes in a container that is too small.  I wish it were made in larger containers than the 7 oz. ones that I only find.

Not worth the effort

I was excited to try Land O Lakes butter with olive oil.  Anything with olive oil is supposed to be good for you so what could be bad about this?  I will admit that the flavor was fine.  I have no complaints there.  I guess it is the consistency that I take issue with.  Straight from the firdge, I certainly would not call it spreadable.  When I purchased the product I expected the same consistency of my usual tub of butter.  I didn't think that would be a problem though because I decided I would just have to remember to get it out of the firdge before using it so it could soften.  So that led to another problem.  If the butter sits out for just a short time, it is so melty that you can hardly use it.  it was almost like water.  There seems to be no happy medium for this product.  I love that fact that it may be more heart healthy but I am not sure I would purchase this again due to the consistency roblems.

Every spread I ever tried was awful. When this butter with olive oil was on sale at my local store I thought why not give it a try,I can always use it to cook . Well I was sooo suprised Great flavor & sooo spreadable. The best part though is that it is healthier than plain butter. Definately give it a try.

Not as spreadable as they say...

The idea behind Land'O'Lakes spreadable butter is great!  Nobody likes the butter that rips your bread apart as you try to butter it.  I decided to try this butter, mostly because the store I was at did not have the brand I usually buy.  The next day, I got out my "spreadable butter" to make myself a grilled cheese sandwich.  The butter proceeded to rip a large hole in my bread when I tried to spread it.  It was more solid than the other brands I usually buy!  Granted, it spreads pretty well if you kind of mix it up with your knife first, but I think just about any butter will do that!  Adding the canola oil is a good idea (one of the healthier oils), and the taste was fine, but when it comes down to it, it's just not spreadable.

Land O Lakes spreadable butter saves me work

5

Land O Lake spreadable butter with canola oil has saved me a lot of work. For years I would buy a pound of butter, let it soften then with my mixer on high speed for 10 minutes I would add 1 1/2 cups of canola oil. As with the Land O Lakes product it created a buttery tasting spread with the good properties offered by canola oil. It also had the added advantage as does the Land O Lakes spreadable butter of being easy to spread. There is no waiting for the butter to soften in order to spread it. There is no more breaking up your bread or toast by trying to spread butter that has just come from the refrigerator. There is no more rancid butter because you left it out to keep it soft and forgot to put it back in the refrigerator. Land O Lakes spreadable butter is definitely a product I had been hoping would come on the market and I am extremely pleased with it. I love crusty bread with butter and Land O Lakes product makes thuis snack easier to prepare and eat.

Great for sauteeing!

5

I recently received a coupon for Land O' Lakes Butter with olive oil. It is an excellent product. I used it to sautee chicken breasts, green peppers, and onions and was pleasantly surprised. The olive oil made it perfect for the task, and the butter added the extra flavor that sometimes food lacks when sauteed in plain olive oil. We also tried it simply spread on sliced bread and also enjoyed this. The fat content is a little high, at 10 grams per tablespoon, but what can you expect from butter and olive oil? I pick and choose my fats, and this is definitely one that I would pick!
