This is the best milk I know.

As I grew I did not really have any problems with milk. I would drink any milk and it would not have any negative effect of any sort on me, but as I grew I noticed that my stomach did not tolerate certain types of milk. I found out that the amount of lactose in other types of milk was the problem. In my search for a better milk my neighbor mentioned Lactaid to me and I ended up buying it because she said it had no lactose. Since then I have stuck with it and I do not plan to switch. It does not make me pass gas as often as I used to. It does not make my stomach bloat and it tastes amazingly good. Since I started using this milk I have loved it and have never felt the need to try another type or product. I told my cousins about it and everyone of them is using it. It is like a family milk brand now. I will recommend anyone with lactose problem to try Lactaid because it is lactose free and it is refreshingly tasty.

This milk may have no lactose in it, but it still has a great taste. I only drink Lactaid and it is a great source of milk for lactose intolerant people. You can have it with cookies, use it with with cereal, and drink it with anything you want. If you like free reduced fat milk, you will LOVE this.

Lactaid milk review

I've recently had some digestive issues so I've had to stop drinking normal milk. Lactaid's lactose free milk has really been a lifesaver. Now by no means does it taste exactly like real "lactose" milk. But the taste isn't awful either. I don't notice a flavor difference when I use it in cooking for like macaroni and cheese or in cereal. Though I do taste a slight difference when I add chocolate syrup to make chocolate milk. It doesn't taste like it did when I drank regular milk but I've gotten use to it because the alternative would be too painful. So if you are looking for a lactose free milk I highly recommend Lactaid's free reduced fat milk which is just like 2% regular milk.

A good substitue if you have lactose issues.

If you have an intolerance to lactose like I do, this is a great substitute so that you can still enjoy cereal and all the other things that need that milk boost. It's not 100% the same, but if real milk makes you sick, this is a nice compromise. I use the fat-free version.

TASTIEST LACTOSE FREE MILK

Lactaid milk is the best milk for those with lactose intolerance. Why? Because it tastes so good. The missing lactose in the milk makes no difference at all. Actually, the missing lactose makes the milk taste sweeter! It's makes for a perfect bowl of cereal. It also has a much longer shelf life than regular milk, lasting a month or longer. For me, it's a win win situation. The milk helps my stomach, tastes great, and lasts a long time. Definitely worth the price.

HP Hood Lactaid  100% Lactose Free Reduced Fat Milk, in the 64 oz. size is our favorite of the Lactose free milks that we purchase.  For one thing, my sister who only drinks this type of milk and this brand, tried another brand and would not continue drinking it.  She went out the next day and bought her own.  For those who can not properly digest milk or some milk products, and especially Asians who  have a tendency towards this condition, these type of milks have enacted a major change into our modern diets.   It tends to have a slightly sweet taste to it, and therefore what I might describe as more body to it.   There are many selections to make within this brand of Lactose milk.  The price tends to be higher and less often on sale,  but it is the most widely available brand in our New York  City region.  They  also are coming out or already have available new food products, so check for those too.  Their company also seems to get the message out about their products to the consumer.  Their website is very helpful. Update: sometimes they have free samples or coupons available.

Good for in coffee...maybe not for drinking straight.

I have tried different kinds of Lactose free milk.  I recently discovered that milk products (mainly straight milk, yogurt, and ice cream) don't get along well with my stomach.  I know that I need calcium and vitamin D, so I figured lactose free milk would be the way to go.  It doesn't taste too bad.  It's better than some other lactose free milk brands that I have tried.  This one is actually fat free (others have 1 gram of fat and taste like one percent milk with sugar). The only thing is I found it to be on the sweet side.  It has the natural milk flavor, but almost seems as if it has a bit of extra sugar or vanilla flavoring. I don't know if that's just the way all lactose free milks are or if it's just my taste buds. I May have to keep trying to find a new milk for my calcium intake or just deal with the flavor that it comes with.  I haven't tried it in cereal yet, but feel like I should probably try it on a bran cereal first to be sure the flavor isn't overwhelming.

Must have milk for lactose intolerance

***Lactaid ***is great for people who're lactose intolerant.  For years I did without cereal and other foods you'd normally eat with milk.  Fortunately, I never got into dunking my cookies in milk, so the cookie monster in me remained in tact...as did my cookie belly.  When my wife found ***Lactaid ***milk, I was skeptical at first and the last to try it.  I thought it'd be to milk what so many diet and sugar-free foods are in terms of flavor. Finally, I had a bowl of cereal poured and ready to eat, but I'd forgotten that all we had was ***Lactaid***.  The cereal, probably *Raisin Bran *at the time, was calling me.  So I poured in the ***Lactaid ***and  We were recently surprised again to find that ***Lactaid ***has cottage cheese as well.  My wife has used it in her recipe for lasagna, so I'm excited to try it.  The taste and flavor of lasagna without the stomach cramps and other symptoms from the cheese, well at least from the cottage cheese.  If only we can find other ***Lactaid*** brand cheeses, too.
