Although I am still younger, I like using anti-aging products as a preventative measure. I saw L'Oreal Youth Code SPF 30 Facial Moisturizer and it was on sale so I decided to purchase it. I should also add I am a redhead with VERY fair skin so I liked that it had the higher level of sunblock. It went on fine but I still had some dry spots. It was just average. However, after a few days I noticed my skin breaking out. It continued to get worse! I stopped using the product and my skin started healing. This must have clogged my pores pretty badly. This is overpriced for the quality. It is an okay moisturizer but it clogged my pores. Effectiveness This moisturizer is about average. It is probably more suited for normal skin, instead of dry skin, like mine. It must have clogged my pores though because I had a severe breakout after using the product. Ease of Application You just apply it like any other moisturizer. Scent The smell is fairly average.

I wanted to use a moisturizer with a sunscreen in it because of the effects the sun had on my skin. I looked for a good product that wouldn't bother my skin and that wouldn't be that expensive. I found this product and I must say that I really love it. I put it on in the morning and it is very light. I let it dry and apply my foundation over it. The 30 SPF is higher than I have found in other moisturizers and I feel great about the protection it gives me. It really protects me for the sun and it helps with my small sun sports and wrinkles. I love that it is giving me the protection for the sun and the anti aging benefits in one product. I like that this product isn't greasy like other moisturizers with sunscreen in it. It doesn't bother my sensitive skin and it really hydrates my skin and it is absorbed very quickly after applying. It really gives me a smooth and soft skin. The smell is nice too without being too overwhelming.

I am now officially not at all a fan of any of the youth code products. I have tried a lot of them, but this moisturizer has to be by far my least favorite product in their line, and I do not plan on purchasing these youth code items in the future. It is also outrageously overpriced for an ineffective, drugstore moisturizer. Effectiveness I saw absolutely zero anti-aging benefits, or any other benefits, from using this. It did, however, manage to break my skin out horribly and it took weeks to clear up all of the way. I have an oily t-zone and this did not sit well with that at all. Ease of Application Upon application this made me feel very greasy, and also left an odd white cast on my skin that made me look very ghostly. The first time I used it, I was told all day that I did not look like I was feeling well, not something that any woman likes to hear! Scent The scent of sunscreen in this is just way to strong for me. The sunscreen smell does not bother me, if I am going for a full day to the beach where it is normal to smell as though you've bathed in the stuff. But for everyday use? No, it does not fit with me.

When we moved to Texas I became very concerned about the effects the sun had on my skin. I started shopping around and found this product. I LOVE it! I put it on in the morning and then even apply other skin care over it. The 30 SPF is one of the higher than I have found for this sort of product and I feel great about the protection it gives me. Effectiveness I don't ever have a sunburn on my face and I rarely get a tan either. As I am approaching 40 I worry about sun spots and wrinkles. We have lived in Texas for 6 years and I have been using this for several and there has been no noticeable bad changes in my skin since I started using this. Ease of Application This isn't greasy, so I am able to apply it easily all over my face. Scent I will admit it, I would wear this for the smell alone. There have been several products that I have stopped using because I couldn't stand the smell, especially so close to my nose. This smells great and applies easily.

This lotion Is just average in my opinion. It has a good scent, not too overpowering, and it absorbs well. It moisturizes without being too heavy. But I don't see any noticeable difference after a couple months use. The low price makes it appealing, just don't expect miracles!

I have a bit sensitive skin so not many moisturizers suit me but my skin loves this product. It keeps my skin looking fresh for long and also very smooth to apply. It's also good base for foundation and absorbs quickly. I would recommend this to dry skin and not for oily.

I started using the L'Oreal Youth Code after my previous moisturizer allowed my skin to dry out. The product claims to fade dark spots on your face from age, sun damage, etc. I have not seen any change in the sun spots on my skin yet but have only been using the product for about 1-1/2 months so far. I am sure this takes time. This product does moisturize the skin on my face better than any product I have used to date. I live in a very dry climate and need a great moisturizer, this product is a great moisturizer. Effectiveness It is a great moisturizer but I have not seen fading of dark spots yet. Ease of Application The product I purchased was in a tub and I would rather a pump bottle so it does not get under my fingernails. Scent I am sensitive about smells especially on my face. I do not want to smell my moisturizer all day and I do not while using the product.

I've recently began using L'Oreal's Youth Code products and find them all to be very nice. The Youth Code SPF 30 Moisturizer goes on smoothly and doesnt feel overly greasy. It does leave my skin looking refreshed, soft,and smooth. Great product ! Effectiveness I do believe this product has improved the look of my skin. Ease of Application Great texture and not to greasy. Smooths on nicely. Scent Does not contain any over powering scent which is a good thing in my opinion.

Loreal youth code moisturizer does exactly what it claims. From the first application of this moisturizer, I could feel the difference. It goes on light and feels smooth. No overpowering fragrance and I love ghat it has 30a spf. Effectiveness I can feel my skin tighten immediately after application. Ease of Application Comes out easy and hoes on smooth. Not too thick. Scent Slight scent that is fresh and doesn't over power.
