I am a big fan of HP products because of their durability, variety of options, and customer service. I have purchased two laptops in the past eleven years and they have both been HP products. I consider myself the average Joe and look for laptops that have basic features with at least 2GHz, at least two USB ports, a CD/DVD drive, and Windows 7, XP, or 8. I not entirely knowledgeable about computers, but I feel I know enough to make the best choice for my lifestyle. This product was right up my alley and allow me to perform computer functions with ease, while providing me with enough memory, or memory expansion options, to use. Battery Life I wouldn't have to charge my computer battery for almost 15-18 hours at a time. Now, I wouldn't be on said computer that long, but I would let it hibernate, which saves power when not in use. Support & Service If I has a question that couldn't be solved through the "HELP" icon on my computer, I could call customer service and they helped me find a solution.

Its a decent starting laptop, if you have a low budget and satisfactory standards, then its good for you. it will get the job done, its not the best laptop around; But certainly not the worst. Its really good for if you don't use it a lot, for example, if you only have a one to two processes going then it will work quite well. Battery Life Battery works well if you charge it the right way. Speed/Performance Just don't have too many things going at once.
