The freezer compartment works as expected for this type of set up. A couple of small items will remain frozen. You can fit enough food for 1-2 people for a week in this refrigerator. If your budget is low, this will do. I was not particularly fond of the silver color. It seemed to run pretty cold. My only real complaint is that it seemed rather loud. It would constantly go on and off all night long. I ended up getting rid of it for that reason. Other than that, it is a perfectly fine compact refrigerator that should suit the needs of any transitional time in your life. I would not recommend it for an office or small apartment because of the noise.

This is a very good refrigerator. The icebox is very small and freezes up a bit (but I have never seen one that did not). I have this in my office and have been quite happy with its overall durability and performance.
