Graco Pack and Play Playard with Newborn Napper Station

The Graco Pack and Play Playard w/ napper station is awesome!

I spent many hours reviewing Pack and Plays before purchasing one for my first baby, and time and time again, Graco Pack and Plays received the highest reviews. I have been using ours for over 6 months now, and I'm extremely satisfied with it. When my baby was a newborn, we had her sleep in the Pack and Play in our bedroom. It was nice to be so close to her when she woke up at night. We chose not to have her sleep in the napper station though, because there is no type of safety restraint system. We did use the diaper changing area however, and found it to be very convenient for late night diaper changes. We also appreciated the fact that the vibration pack was able to be unattached from the newborn napper station and attached to the bassinet. We used the vibration pack quite a bit to help our baby sleep. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

Great Product A+

I have used Graco pack and plays in the past and am equally as happy with this one. My favorite part of this new design is the newborn sleeper. It is comfortable and you can put the vibrating feature that normally goes in the bottom of the playpen and insert it into the back of the sleeper. This also has a sturdy changing table with a little bag that clips to the side of the playpen so that you can put diapers and baby wipes in it. This playpen also features a sound device that plays classical music and nature sounds, there is also a small light on it. This playpen is very light and can be moved easily by an older brother or sister or a pregnant mom. Also very easy to set up. Some of the parts on top seem complicated but really aren't. Overall I am very happy with this product would definenetly recommend it to anyone. You can always add a mobile to it to make it the perfect little area for your bundle of joy.

Love it, but more than you need.

Our baby slept in this for the first 5 months of her life... I just couldn't bring myself to move her to her room. The pack n play was the perfect size to scoot next to our bed for easy access to her! While she was still using the elevated part I stored her toys and extra diapers underneath. I agree with others; the changing area is not supported enough on two of the corners so my baby rolls to one side during diaper changes even as a newborn and now really bad. I like how easy this is to travel with. As for the bassinet part I never really trusted it enough to hold my child and always just used the raised up part.  The music is great and so it the vibrations.  I really have no complaints overall, this is a very useful product. I am glad we have it. But now that I am not a first time mom I realize I really didn't need all the extra "bells and whistles" (especially since you can't take them with you in the carrying case) but if you are going to spend that much I would recommend getting a playmat that had a mobile or a sturdier storage for diapers and wipes.

Great for newborn

This pack-N-Play is amazing! I used it for a long time till I started putting my baby in his crib. The Newborn Napper part was amazing because my baby was born in December so it helped keep him warm during the few cold months we have in Texas. The baby changing part came in very handy as well! Very easy to clean and very sturdy! We even gave him wash cloth baths in the diaper changing area too.

Great luxury to have

I bought this pack n play originally because I wanted my baby close to me while he slept.  Long story, but it didn't really work for that.  He didn't like being put down -- it wasn't the pack n play's fault!  So we didn't get much use out of the bassinet part.  We DID get a lot of use out of the diaper changing station that clips on the top -- it was the main place we changed his diapers for those first few months while he stayed in our room with my husband and me.  We even gave him his first wipe-down bath in the changing station!  The vinyl on the changing station is a little cold and sticks to sensitive skin, so we just placed a burp cloth on it before placing our newborn in it.  The most use we got out of our play yard, though, came when he got a little older, and needed to take naps.  He was too big to nap in his infant seat anymore. So we brought the pack n play everywhere, and set it up whenever he got too tired.  It fit great in our trunk, and it sets up in a flash -- SO easy!  We take it to Grandma's house all the time, and he's even slept in it for days at a time while my husband and I have been away on vacation.  It's a great little product -- but I would say it's a luxury to have -- not really an "essential" item, if you're looking to cut back your spending.

Great for a weekend trip or a sleepover at Grandma's house!

The Graco Pack 'N Play is a wonderful and very portable baby item.  It folds up very compactly and is easy to store when not in use.  The play yard is also very easy to set up and take down.  At first when I saw it, I wasn't sure how to set it up, but the instructions are very easy to follow and if you can't find the owner's manual, they are actually printed on the inside of the pack 'n play.  We have used this numerous times on overnight trips in hotel rooms and friend's homes.  We have also sent it to Grandma's house for sleepovers.  Our daughter seems to be comfortable in it and tends to sleep well.  The one downside of this product is all the extra accessories that came with it like a mobile, diaper changing area and side compartments.  These things all detach, but we never really used them because it is a hassle to bring them anywhere and they are bulky and do not collapse easily into the pack 'n play bag.  However, the bassinet attachment we did find useful when when our child was very small.  Overall, a very well made product, but probably did not need to buy all the bells and whistles so to speak.  If I were to buy another, it would be a very basic model.

Finally the perfect thing for us, Graco Pack n Play

Okay, I was given this product from my babies uncle but I couldn't have asked for anything better. We started our family in a one bedroom so he sleeps in his pack n play in our room which is fine by us. It has a changing table which can fold up or be taken off. It even has a spot for wipes to be kept and a diaper holding area. It doesn't hold enough diapers for us so we use it to be other baby items such as vaseline and a suction bulb. It also has two lil pockets by the wipe holder to put more lil baby things such as baby socks/mittens, tempature taker and medicine. It has a level that is not on the bottom of the pack n play for him to sleep which has a umbrella thing, we never really use and would have rather had a mobile, which is very hard to find for the graco pack n play. It does also have a vibrator/music/light for him. The light is perfect for the middle of the night feedings or diaper changes. My only problem is lack of being able to find a mobile and the weight limit in the bassinet(15lbs). I had a big baby and he is only 3 months old and outgrown it. We will be removing this and getting a mattress pad for the bottom for him and am so exciting to being able to continue to use this

A necessity for travel or a two level home

My daughter is now 8 months old but we couldn't have done without this pack'n'play when she was born.  She still uses it today to sleep in when we travel or play in while I get a shower.  The newborn napper made a huge difference in the first few weeks because she was so small (born at 6 pounds) and looked so lost in a crib or bassinet.  The napper fabric is soft and cuddled her if she couldn't be in someone's arms.  Also, this put her at the perfect height next to our bed so that I could just reach over and grab her for middle of night feedings.  The diaper changing station was great and a good height (I am 5'5) so we really didn't need any other equipment for the first three months than this pack'n'play.  However, the changing table insert does tilt once the baby gets over 10 pounds or so.   She never liked the vibrating option too much, it was pretty loud and seemed more jarring than soothing but that is probably just a personal preference.  The night light was handy and the music/sounds are soothing
