Great for my toddler (with supervision)!

5

Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers Juice Treats are one of the most recent items I introduced to my toddler. He is outgrowing some of the toddler foods and is getting ready to transition to the preschooler stage. Initially, I was very hesitant about giving Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers Juice Treats to my son. He has a very strong gag reflex, and I thought that he might choke on the juice treats. I started giving these to him at the kitchen table so I could closely monitor his gag reflex and the amount he chewed each juice treat. He absolutely loves these juice treats! He chewed they well before swallowing and really enjoyed each juice treat. I love that the there are no artificial dyes in this product and it does not contain high fructose corn syrup. I highly recommend Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers Juice Treats as a transition food from the toddler stage to the preschooler stage. Quality of Ingredients This product is made with all natural ingredients. Safety Safe for older toddlers (with supervision).

Gerber Juice Treats

I have had good experiences with most Gerber products, but I'm not a fan of Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers Juice Treats. These are basically just more expensive fruit snacks. My older kids love fruit snacks, and my toddler is always wanting to eat them. I think regular fruit snacks are too chewy for her, so I bought these. They seemed like a healthier option, and they are Gerber, so I figured they had to be safe for small children. First of all, these snacks are loaded with sugar. They also have a lot of preservatives and artificial colors which I am not a fan of. As for the safety of these, I don't think they are any easier to chew than other fruit snacks. They are supposed to be for suitable for small children, but I think they are a choking hazard. I would not buy these again. For as much as they charge, they could find a way to make them healthier and safer. Don't buy these.

Something to feel good about

My first association with Gerber's Graduates for Preschoolers Juice Treats was at my son's daycare center. I was surprised to know they had been giving them to him. After that, I began my own personal search to see what these fruit snack similar treats were all about. Turns out they are pretty good - as far a nutrition - concerning snacking goes. I was amused so, I decided I would make the switch at home too. I love the fact that they contain real ingredients and help me to feel like I am doing the right thing for my boy. The little fruit shapes are cute and easily managed by little fingers. A great little take-along as well, they travel well. Safety They work really great for tiny fingers.

Better than cartoon themed crap...

This is labeled a preschool snack because that is what it is. It is Gerber's take on fruit snacks which present a choking hazard for smaller babies and even toddlers so do take notice that this is not a baby food. Fruit roll ups, fruit snacks and gummies are a popular snack with little kids, maybe because of there fun shapes or bright colors or for some other reason only understandable to them but for whatever reason kids love them. However the majority of fruit snacks on the market are loaded with sugar and other not so good for you things. Gerber Preschool fruit juice snacks are made with the same quality of ingredients as all the other Gerber products. They aren't super loaded with sugar and the ingredients are things that are pronouncable which is good. The taste of these is good, actually better than the more popular fruit snacks. They actually taste like fruit instead of colored sugar. The little kids that I fed them too didn't notice or care that they weren't shaped like cartoon characters and gobbled them right up. You can often find coupons for these great fruit snacks. They are more expensive then the store bought brands and at some stores more expensive then the popular cartoon character shaped ones, but they often go on sale and they are worth it. Safety As I mentioned before I reccomend these only for preschoolers and older, I would not reccomend these for toddlers.

They're just fruit snacks!

My son loves fruit snacks but they have so much sugar in them so I rarely let him have any. I got these on sale assuming like most Gerber products they would be healthier than other versions of fruit snacks, hopefully even having some real fruit in them! I looked at the nutrition label after I got home and found they had just as much sugar as the regular fruit snacks that I typically let my son have. I was really disappointed and I wish I had looked at the label before I purchased them. They are a little softer than regular fruit snacks so if your child is having a hard time eating chewy things, these are definitely going to be a better option. If your child isn't having trouble eating chewy things, however, just stick to regular fruit snacks. Regular fruit snacks are much cheaper and the Gerber Graduates brand aren't any healthier. Quality of Ingredients Fine if you are looking for fruit snacks, not if you are looking for a healthy treat.

Love it

My son really enjoys fruit snacks but I was afraid of all the sugar in them. SO my husband suggested since he is three to try the gerber snacks to derail all of that sugar. I have one packet to my son when we returned from the store and he adored them. My son decided to share one with me and I was shocked on how sweet they really were. I was assuming they would be bland. I was very impressed.

Yummy Gerber Graduates Gummi Treats

Gerber really does seem to know how to make great things for kids. I have two kids and have used thier products many times and in all varieties. These Juice Treats are wonderful. What I normally will do is throw a few packets either into my purse or into the baby bag. They stay fresh for quite some time and are easy, convieniant especially in doctors offices, waiting for anything really. They keep the kids happy and they seem to really enjoy them. My little one still doesn't have all his teeth yet and he's able to really chew these up with no problem at all. They are very soft and so he has no issue with gumming them. My older daughter thinks they are more like gummi bears and I am happy because they don't have all the sugar that normal gummi bears have. I love that they have so much natural fruit juice in them. So I don't feel so guilty for giving my kids a treat. So I would say that these keep mom and kids happy.
