Good oven for the price
The GE Gas range has been a good purchase for my family. While I love stainless steel, we do not have the budget to replace all of the appliances in our kitchen. So, we purchased this stove about a year ago. The stove we received had enamel grates, which is not what I wanted. It seems they have changed this now, so that all stoves come with cast iron grates. My main concern with the enamel grates is that you can chip the enamel off and it is a bit hard to get stains off. What I love about this stove: The 4 burners have the ability to do slow simmer (on the small one) and fast boil (on the larger ones) I didn't think this was a necessity before we purchased it, but it is really great. Also like the continuous grates so you can just slide things off their burner. Main complaint is that the enamel grates are hard to clean. Once something spills and it burned on there it is difficult to get it completely clean again.
