We've had our GE 2-Slice Toaster for years now and never had any problems with it. The price is average, the durability is exceptional, and it is convenient to use. It does what a good toaster should. We use the toaster for toast, bagels, even grilled cheese sandwiches, if you turn the toaster sideways! It is small enough to fit on the countertop and the design is nice enough for any kitchen. The design and make of this toaster is simple and easy to use. The toaster cooks evenly and works quickly. It is safe to use, as we've never had any problems with the wiring or any malfunctions. Cleaning the machine is easy, as there is a pull out tray to clean the crumbs. The timer sometimes is a bit off, so we have to cut the timer short so the toast does not burn. Other than that no complaints. This little toaster will probably outlive our pet. Why pay more to buy a 4-slice toaster when it only takes 30 seconds-1 minute to make toast with this GE Toaster?

I love this toaster! It has so many cool functions. Its small enough and beautiful and stylish enough that you can leave it on your countertop. It matches perfectly with all my other stainless steel appliances. I love the design and the functionality. Perfect little toaster. Well i shouldn't call it little because it is big enough to toast your bagels without them getting all squished up like most other toasters can do. It even has a cancel button that you can use to make your food pop up when you want. It toasts beautifully and you can even put something frozen in there. This is really a neat little gadget. It is safe, the cord has one of those 3 prong things. Very easy to clean. there is a slide out tray in the bottom that is neatly hidden. the stainless wipes clean beautifully without an issue. so thats perfect. very durable and very functionable for a family. this is money well spent if you are looking for a toaster.

This is one of the best toasters Ive ever bought. It has a very contemporary design made of easy to clean chrome with black accents. Its only a two slice but they are wide and accomodate most bagels. Toaster has cancel feature which was real helpful as I got used to what setting to use for what. Crumb tray is easy to clean. Chrome is of a good quality as to shine up well. Toaster was around 20.00 so if it lasts two years Ive more than gotten my moneys worth, but I think it will last longer. Would recommend to family and friends. It does an okay job on toast, but it really shouldn't be used if you like your toast light. Does great on bagels. Toasting Evenness Even on the lightest settings, it has a tendency to burn the bread. This isn't the case with thicker items like bagels, but regular toast is hard to cook. Safety No issues so far. Ease of Cleaning Most outside crumbs wipe off easily. Cleaning inside is a little tricky. Design Looks great, a little bulky.

I really do call it the super toaster. This is quite possibly the best toaster I've ever purchased. It has a reheat feature and a setting where you can toast something from completely frozen to nice and crispy without have to let it thaw first. This has come in handy more than a few times when i've made toaster pasteries. The stainless steel matches the rest of my applinaces and it's small enough to leave on the counter all the time. It's also got a pull out crumb catcher that's easy to clean. Some downsides to the toaster are that since it is kind of on the small side larger peices of bread (lengthwise, not width wise) and larger bagels won't fit all the way into the toaster. I usually end up taking them out before they're done and flipping them around to get the entire thing toasted. Another downside is that the steel gets really hot and can burn you if you're not careful. If you have kids or are disabled this might not be the toaster for you because of the potential to burn yourself. Overall though this a really great toaster and would make a great gift for someone with a smaller kitchen or that lives in a dorm room.

We are a family of 6 and love our breakfast foods.  We use our toaster AT LEAST once a day.  This toaster looks great and matches our stainless steel appliances.  It is easy enough for my twin seven year olds to use on there own.  The slots are wide enough for us to toast our bagels, and deep enough to toast wide bread.  I love the 3 touch buttons for bagel (it only toast the inside of th bagel), frozen (waffles and pancakes), and reheat (get it hot after you forgot about it).  There is also a button to cancel if you want it to come up quicker than usual.  The coils get very hot in the toaster and it toast your food evenly.  There is also a dial where you control how much "toasting" you wnat to do.  We are a light toast family so we usually set it around the 3 or 4.  One thing that I do not like about our ge toaster is that to get the bread out you need to push up on the thing that you push down to make the toast come out.  It dosen't give you much room to get yoru fingers in there and grab out your food, making you often burn the fingertips.  Besides that we have had the toaster for around 3 years and have not had any problems.

this toaster is gets the job done. i love the extra features like the cancel button, the bagel toasting option, the extrawide slots.its ez to use and looks good on the counter too. it does leave a crumby(sp) mess underneath, but really, is that really a big deal?
