This is an affordable push reel mower for someone looking to save on gas when cutting the grass. Overall, this mower is good. We find that we need to cut the grass a bit more often than with a gas mower. If the blades get too long, the fiskars does not quite get them all. We also have to be a little more diligent with picking up sticks and other debris in the yard as to not jam up the blades. This is easy to use for myself and my husband. We like the quietness of the mower, the gas savings with a push reel mower, and the look of our lawn. Performance This machine boasts excellent performance for everyday lawn trimming. I don't have any problems with small sticks and bumps in the yard. You do have to cut a bit more often. If the grass blades get too long, it has trouble getting them or it bogs down. Handling Easy to maneuver this mower. We basically do straight lines back and forth and around a few trees, so nothing too fancy going on here. Durability So far so good. We have owned this for 2 years in Pittsburgh. It is kept in the shed in the winter. Dry the blades if they are wet. No rust or need to sharpen. Safety Safe for use around kids and pets. It doesn't move if you are not pushing it. Blades stop spinning when you stop. Ease of Use Great mower. Easy for a man or small woman to use, like myself. Engine Power How powerful are you? That's how powerful the mower is. Doesn't take a lot of force to get this thing moving.
