I was really happy when we first received the monitor.  Set up was easy and the video showed no lag.  Audio was also clear.  The range on this product was good for inside and outside our property (house sits on 1/8 of an acre).  The battery life to start lasted about 20-30 minutes if the video was on.  If you turn the video off manually, the unit will turn back on due to any noise in the room (crying, etc).  In our case, the noisemaker that is consistently on would activate the monitor.  In order to properly use this monitor, it had to be plugged in at all times.  This really limits your ability to use this as a portable unit.  8 months after using the unit, we got no battery life.  As soon as it was unplugged from the wall, the unit would blare out a loud beeping noise.  I contacted Fisher Price and they sent out a new battery.  This did not resolve the issue.  Will have to get a new unit.  Unfortunately, from other reviews I've read, this is common for this mobile.

Great for the price.  Music, ocean wave sounds and nightlight are great features.  Only complaint is that even on full charge does not seem to last that long.  Low battery indicator and out-of-range beep are good to have.
