I had this baby video monitor passed down to me from who no longer needed it. It was a very nice upgrade for us from our audio monitors. When I received this monitor I was still debating on whether or not my daughter was ready to be switched to a toddler bed from her crib. I had this set up and was watching her and she started to climb out of the edge, thankfully I could see this and was able to intercept her before she fell to the floor but that confirmed my decision in putting her in a toddler bed. I really liked having this video monitor to see if she was staying in the bed now that she could come and go as she pleased. The monitor provides a clear color picture during the day when her room is well lit by the sun for her afternoon nap and switches to black and white night vision when she goes to bed at night. I can see very well in both scenarios. I did play with the lullaby music a bit that can be started from the monitor and played through the camera, but it is pretty loud, not really soothing so I do not use this feature with her. The monitor is very light weight and fits easily into my pocket so I can go around the rest of the house taking care of chores without ever losing a signal. The camera can be plugged into the wall or run off batteries making it convenient to take with if travelling. The only downside I see is that we are now expecting our second baby and I can not add another camera to the system as some other units allow you to, so I will probably upgrade to a system that can accommodate multiple cameras with one monitor. I will find another mom who can use it since it still in like new condition and working great.

This is a very mobile baby monitor, I can move it room to room with ease, and the piece of mind is worth it! Sound/Video Clarity For the price and what I wanted it for its great! I didn't wan something to see every movement, just to be able to check on my son with ease and chance of waking him! Interference I havent had any problems and the monitor has great distance Durability The base for the camera is magnetic and keeps it very very stable! The monitor is great so far, has not been put into danger so far; which I can't complain! Portability Ive moved it to several locations with ease!

After looking through countless reviews and recommendations, this was the only baby monitor that I found that satisfied my needs.  Unfortunately, it was also one of the priciest. However, unlike the others, this one provided a secured link to the camera.  With standard monitors that uses radio frequencies, if you live in a neighborhood with several infants (using similar monitors), you may turn on your monitor one day and see somebody else's baby!  I've seen it happened more than one before.  Heck...given that, a stranger could easily purchase a monitor, drive around the neighborhood, and be watching your baby through it for all you know.  As such, the security of the Levana (and other high-end) monitors was more than worth it.  The LED lights and lullaby were minor details but absolutely appreciated.  The set-up was a breeze...more like a few clicks and everything was good to go.  Unlike some of the other monitors, this one had a relatively long distance of interference free connection as well (watch out for heavily walled houses...distance could be shorter).  Since my home is made of solid wood (not mostly sheet rock like most homes today), I tend to have feedback from time to time depending on where I'm going...but it's not very often.  For most people, there shouldn't be any problem.  The clarity and color of the monitor was top-notch and sound was loud and clear.  So far, no issues yet.

When I was in the market for a baby monitor I did alot of research. This monitor had the best reviews so I decided to buy it. It is a nice monitor but it has some feature flaws. One thing is that the baby has to make a certain amount of noise before the speaker is activated. It may be good for some moms but I wanted to hear EVERY NOISE the baby makes. It is nice now that my baby is older and I do not want to hear everything but it drove me crazy when she was smaller. I wanted to be able to hear her breathe....lol. Another drawback is that it makes this humming noise all the time. The VOX feature (means it only comes on when it detects sound or movement) is ok but it was choppy on and off and I found out it was just better to leave it on all the time. The lullabye feature was cute but the location of the button caused me to accidently hit it alot when I didn't want it to come on. That would sometimes wake the baby up! It states that is is interference free but it does mess with my wireless internet. We have to cut the monitor off while using the computer. THe picture is clear but there is not much difference between the night vision and the day time vision. THey both look black and white to me. Overall I am glad I have this monitor. I love not having to go into the room to check on the baby (who is a toddler now) when she is waking or maybe just moving around to get more comfortable. Now I can actually see if she really needs me or not.

My husband and I love this Levana baby monitor. I had just a sound monitor for a few months, but quickly realized that was not going to work once my baby moved into his own room. This video monitor works great. The vision is clear during the day and during night with the night vision mode. My baby absolutely loves the music that plays as well. There are three different musical songs you can choose from. He goes to sleep every night with the music and I usually keep it on throughout the night. The parent part of the monitor is very easy to use. For parents and grandparents alike who may not be so technologically savvy. This set also can go into night mode making the screen go dark and just a little light appear just to let you know it is still on and working. The video part of the monitor has two attachments. One is a magnet that you can just sit on a dresser and then set the video ball on it. The other is a door attachment, you can actually attach the monitor to a door or other item with similar width and the monitor just screws on easily. This monitor is worth the price for sure!

I was so excited to get this video monitor for our first baby. While it does work, I find that the red light distracts my little one. Also, we have significant feedback with the receiver. I couldn't sleep with it on. We returned our first one and received it back saying they were unable to recreate the problem.

We received this as a gift off our baby registry. We started using the monitor when our daughter was 6 weeks old when we started putting her in her crib for the night. I really liked this product at first, but as we started using it I found a few things I would have liked corrected before the product was put into production. After only a few weeks, the video screen stopped working, which virtually turned it into a voice monitor.  I was told to call the manufacturer because it had a 1-year warranty from them. I found the number on the box and they said the back light on the LCD probably broke. Still, there are some great things about this monitor system: - It was really easy to mount and sync the product. - The video quality was surprisingly good, both during the day and at night. (The red light is needed for the infrared night vision.) I could even see my daughter's chest rising. It's nice to see when I need to come in and when I should let her sooth herself back to sleep. - I don't mind that the monitor only turns on when the baby cries. She didn't have to be crying hard for it to turn on. We have it mounted directly behind/above her head (also may help with not being mesmerized by the red light). - I like the music and love that it's not on a timer so I can turn it off when I want. - Really like the VOX button - the voice activation feature. The unit is silent until she cries. - The range is awesome. We can use it in every room of our house and outside a good distance as well. - The portability is wonderful. I can quickly unplug it and take it on trips. - Battery life on the hand held part is great! - The hand held is a great size, the screen is a great size, the clip on back is nice to carry it on my pants when I'm doing chores around the house or yard, and the clip also flips around to become a stand so the monitor will stand up on it's own. Now for my dislikes about the product (while it worked normally): - The music buttons are too close to the other buttons and are easily confused/accidentally pushed instead. I also wish the music had volume control. - I hate that it 'refreshes' every ten seconds. The screen flashes and the volume increases when this happens.  If I don't have the VOX on, it distracts me and makes me think she's moving out of the corner of my eye. - The mounted part hardly has any battery life at all. It's actually a joke, but if you keep it plugged in at all times, it easy to get around. - The night light is tinted red due to the infrared lights. - You can't use the music and VOX at the same time since the music would turn on the system, so you have to listen to the music until you turn it off.  And if you push the VOX button while the music is playing, it will automatically turn it off. - Lastly, it interfered with my wireless internet until we got out wireless service upgraded. So if you have low signal strength, this may be an issue for you. I have since gotten the screen fixed and returned from the manufacturer.  They were very professional and returned the product in a timely manner.  My only issue was that I had to find a replacement to use in the meantime, and I had to pay to ship the product to them, even though it was under warranty.  I honestly don't think I could live without this monitor - it sure is nice to have it back!

Our inlaws bought us this video monitor.  We have a small one story home so I honestly wasn't even planning on buying a monitor.  Now we dont go anywhere without it.  It has been *priceless*.  Especailly as he has learned to roll over, sit up, crawl and stand up.  Through each stage the video monitor has been there to let me peek on my baby.  When they are crying themselves to sleep it is nice to look and make sure their foot isnt caught or they have some legitimate reason to be crying without actually going in their room (and making the crying start from square one again).  It is very easy to mount on anything.  We started with the camera being mounted on the crib.  Now it is mounted across the room on the dresser (because he got to old and could reach the camera when standing up in his crib).  Also mounts well to pack n plays.  We just throw it in our luggage with us whenever we travel.  Our child is 9 months old and the video monitor does look like it is showing signs of wear (it is getting pixiley).  And it is ususally black and white but then randomly sometimes it will be color, not sure about that. And sometimes i accidently hit the lullaby button when he is sleeping and it wakes him up, whoops. Overall we love having a video monitor, and this is a decent budget-midrange option.

If you are a first time mom who is worried about having your baby sleep in his or her nursery this is the baby monitor for you. The color on the monitor is crystal clear also the night vision is so clear as well, you do not get that grainy picture like you do with other monitors. When I was first looking into monitors I bought one that was slightly more expensive than this one and I end up taking it back. This baby monitor is a dream. There isn't any interference at all, I have gone from upstairs all the way down to my kitchen and into my garage and I had a great picture and sound. If your baby makes the slightest sound or move you will hear it. Also the other great feature is the lullabies. I have only tried the lullabies out once but they seem great. I think once our baby gets a little bit older then we will start to use the lullaby feature. In all I highly recommend this baby monitor.
