The Elizabeth Arden Intervene cream was given to me as a gift. I had been getting dry spots on my face and so it was recommended by a friend. I've always had combination skin so heavy creams and moisturizers weren't something I applied regularly. The scent is nice- very light and floral. When applying it, I applied it after my other usual topical toner and serum. It was easy to apply, but I did notice a slighty oily feeling on my hands. The next morning my face didn't have as many dry spots. After multiple uses, my skin is more moisturized and those dry spots are gone. However, I did happen to notice an increase in break-outs. I'm not sure if it was because of the cream or that it's because it's summer, but I have since then changed creams because of that. All in all, I'd have to rate this cream a 3/5 because although the scent was nice and it did serve its main purpose of hydrating my skin, I dislike the oily feeling it leaves my skin and it may have caused my skin to break out.
