My iPod is still going strong in this case after nearly 5 years of ownership. I took it on an extended vacation during which I used it almost every day for the 3 months I was traveling. I probably dropped it a dozen times and it didn't suffer any damage. Sound Quality not applicable Battery Life not applicable
