The Earth's Best Organic Whole Grain Oatmeal Cereal is a great choice for baby's first cereal for many different reasons. We particularly liked that it is organic, is made from whole grains, is not sweetened, and mixes well with a variety of foods. Oatmeal in particular has a lot of fiber and our child actually preferred it to the Rice cereal, which we tried first. We have made it plain with water or breastmilk and it mixes very easily and is not clumpy at all. We also like to mix it in with pureed veggies or fruits to bulk up mealtime a bit for baby. He ate this every morning for a very long time! His favorite was oatmeal mixed with applesauce. It can be a little messy like any solid food so we made sure he was wearing a bib whenever he ate. It does wash off clothing pretty easily but when he was learning to use his own spoon he would get it stuck in his hair quite a bit but nothing a bath/shower won't fix!

We started with the Earth's Best rice cereal out of the box for our baby and then when he got older, decided to try the Earth's Best Organic Whole Grain Oatmeal Cereal.  The baby likes both and I like to have both to mix it up for him.  I usually add some of this in his baby food to make sure he's getting more iron and the other nutrients and vitamins that are in the Earth's Best cereals.  I am a very big fan of all the Earth's Best baby foods because they are organic.  They are a little more expensive and spendy than say Gerber baby foods or other store brand baby foods - but you can usually find them on sale and get good deals on them.  I don't mind paying more for an item that is organic and and from a company that I feel like I can really trust.  My baby has had no issues with any of the Earth's Best baby food and this oatmeal cereal is a great addition to his daily meals and his diet.  I'd highly recommend!

My baby was taking both formula and breast milk until 3 month old when she began spitting and not taking milk from her bottle. She really gave me a hard time so i began to worry that i am going to have a hard time feeding her with baby food when the right time comes that she's ready. I talk to her pediatrician and gave me advise that feeding my baby with iron rich food specially rice cereals is the best way to give my baby the nutrition that she needs specially right now that she is growing up rapidly. So i followed her advise and gave my baby her first food of earth's best organic whole grain oatmeal cereal and she absolutely love it. And the best part of it is that it is nutritious, pack with iron for brain development and so much more like a  good source of calcium. So i am very happy and  pleased that my baby is enjoying eating while gaining many benefits from oatmeal cereal. Thank you so much!!

I try to use mostly organic in the foods that I feed my daughter. This oatmeal is great. It has a good consistency that is not too runny and not to thick. I have tried Gerber and beechnut and after mixing in formula they have a very smooth consistency that gets kind of gummy. The earth's best stays the consistency you expect oatmeal to be. My daughter prefers this over the other cereals. The flavor, in my opinion, is also better than some of the other brands. I usually mix it with a fruit or a vegetable when feeding my daughter so taste isn't too much of a factor. Earth's Best products really stand out above the rest as far as quality. The pricing is fair also and you can always find coupons online or in magazines. I feel much better about feeding a good quality, good tasting product to my daughter on a daily basis. I will be buying earth's best products as much as I can. I have noticed that more and more places are starting to carry the brand also.

My baby loves this oatmeal, especially when mixed with fruit.  And I love knowing that it is organic, and a whole grain.  Most baby cereals are not whole grain, and I figure we might as well start off our little girl on the right foot. This stuff is great!

I'm a busy mom who is very concerned about providing nutritious foods for my children to eat.  I was delighted to discover this cereal to use with my babies!  I usually feed my family whole grain cereals and breads, and it seemed like it is even more important to start out an infant with healthy foods.  When my pediatrician suggested that I start my babies with baby cereal (because of the added iron) I was not very excited about that (especially since many baby cereals contain added flavors, colors, or sugars).  However, when I discovered Earth's Best whole grain baby cereals we were all happy!  I use this as a first solid food (mixed with breast milk) and then later serve it mixed with other fruits or vegetables.  I make all my own baby food except for this cereal (which I like because it is organic, whole grain, and has the added iron).  This cereal is very convenient to use, and it mixes well with breast milk.  I do have one complaint - once it has been opened the box does not seem to close very securely so I often switch it to a different container that seals tightly.

After giving the rice ceral to my daughter who is 6 months, I found that she didnt enjoy the taste of the cereal alone. she is breastfeed and i wasnt sure if she would like it because breastmilk is so sweet. After i added some bananas to the cereal with breastmilk i thought she ate it much better. the cereal mixes well with breastmilk and nursery water only if it warm. i was out at the park and the water was on ice and it was snack time for the baby, i mixed the cereal with the ice cold water and it was really clumpy which is normal i guess. But other than that she enjoys it.
