Dell is one of my favorite PC maker due to its slick design, quality and performance. This desktop 230 is mini version in Vostro Family with slimmer tower. It has relies on a 2.20GHz Intel Celeron processo and 1 GB RAM as default but I would suggest upgrade atleast to 3 GB. Becuase 1GB of RAM runs very slow on this machine, operates efficiently with 2GB or more. It displays full-screen video without stutter or artifacts cut over the edge. It is light weight so easy to carry while travelling or going out of town. Best part is, it does not come with dozens of preloaded software in many cases it is not requred just creating more troubles like HP laptops.   It has SD /Flash Card reader and Giga byte ethernet but does not have wi-fi that is the killing one. Dell should have thought thru before discarding this feature from Mini 230. Even it was very easy to get going. I was up and running in a short time. Brought my files over from my old PC very seamlessly. Good overall experience.

This Dell Vostro 230 is a normal ordinary Joe. It'is decent for the price and if given the circumstances I would defeinitely buy it again. The processor is perfect for basic computing and performing simple tasks such as Youtube, word processing, Internet browsing and maybe a few extras like same non intensive games. But if you try multi tasking too much then this desktop will definteily fail you. It is underpowered and needs a better processor as well as more RAM if it wants to try anything else/ I would go with not a betbook and an actual large laptop if you wanted to try playing games on the go. The best strength about this computer is the battery life it brings to the table. Also I am proud to say that this computer has never crashed through my years of usage!! When I conserve my battery and do my best to save battery life I end up getting maybe 8 to nine hours on average. On good days I wind up with maybe 9 hours.. TO make things short and simple, grab this Dell Vostro 230and you will be satisfied with the purchase and never blink an eye!!

I purchased this PC desktop one year ago. It came in a large box and was maintained well by the shipping vendors, which made me feel great. It has been quiet for years and I hardly felt it running even though I was sleeping just beside the desktop. It had powerful CPUs, lots of memory and strong video card sufficient for me to play the latest visual games which was great for me as a game fan! I occasionally used this desktop to set up the karaoke system and invited my friends to sing in my home, and all of them felt great and would like to own one as well. Basically speaking I like the desktop on its design and look, and I appreciate the performance of the desktop based on the low price at which I purchased it - I brought in a Thanksgiving sale and the price was approximately 30% off the typical sale price! Generally speaking, I like this desktop and the service provided by DELL! I would recommend it to my friends so they would buy it as well!
