I always tend to buy my facial moisturizers and treatments in the form of serum (preferably), gel or lightweight lotion for my oily skin. I received a sample of CoQ10 Gel Moisturizer and thought it would be the perfect texture for my skin's needs. Unfortunately, it was probably one of the worst facial products my skin has ever encountered. Overall, I would say this moisturizer has effective ingredients, but what good is that if you can't stand to put it on your face? Effectiveness DHC CoQ10 Gel Moisturizer is enriched with the antioxidant coenzyme Q10. This ingredient is known to promote firmer skin and a softer complexion by fighting free radicals that can cause cell damage. That's the positive Ease of Application The negative is simply the composition of the gel. I poured a glob of a milky-yellow substance onto my palm and then spread it across my face. The texture was so uncomfortably sticky, didn't seem to absorb well, and left a slight residue on the surface of my skin. I washed it off after only a few minutes. It was not a pleasant experience. Scent If there is a scent, I barely noticed it. That's a good thing for me, because I dislike facial products that have such a strong fragrance that I can still smell them even after they've been applied.
