My favorite pot

5

I have the entire Cuisinart cookware set, but I actually purchased this pot separately and I am so glad that I did. I use this pot almost every time I cook. It's the perfect size to make meals for a small family. I use it for stir fry, beef stew, chili, vegetables, and any other thing you could possibly imagine cooking. This pot is so versatile that I can easily use it as a pot or a pan without any problems. I know stainless steel can be tricky to clean, but I have found that a little vinegar rubs away anything that might stick to the pan. If you use enough butter or oil and keep the heat on medium or less though, nothing sticks. Heat distribution is even and everything cooks beautifully. While the rest of my Cuisinart cookware set is great, I tend to favor this pot solely because of the versatility. If anything were to happen to this pot, I would buy it again to replace it in a heartbeat!

This cookware is great. It holds a lot of food especially if you are cooking soup or a one pot meal. I love this pot. it is easy to clean and is very durable. I would recommend this cookware to anyone who is on the market for a good, durable product for cooking any kind of food.

good buy - u won't regret

Cuisinart Stainless Multi-Pot Cookware is a good buy. This is my first cookware set in stainless steel. I was surprised to see it needs very little oil . i cook everything including omlets and pancakes in these pans and nothing sticks if cooked on medium flame. I cook almost everday so am happy that i invested in this. it heats very quickly and the base gets heated uniformly. It does not need high heat . The handles are riveted and stay cool even while on flame. the pots and pans have glass lid. I would have liked it more if it also had a hole for the team to escape. but thats not an issue. the only thing i don't like is sometimes it is difficult to clean as there will be few stains remaining even after u soak it in water for long. i don't know how to get rid of those as i expect a mirror finish after cleaning as it is steel.but again i am not sure if i am doing something wrong which is not able to get them off. go for it i bougt it from sams club after looking for a better price on amazon...

The almost never use it pot (for single person)

I got this pot when I got my first apartment. I thought I wanted a larger pot for larger items. I do have other Cuisinart Chef's classic pots. Out of all of them, this is the pot that I use the least. I like the fact that it has a glass lid. This way you can see the inside of soups and etc. However, I don't really like the pot to make noodles (long noodles in particular). It doesn't fit right. You would do better with the actually pasta pot that Cuisinart makes). In addition, if you are also only cooking for one person, this pot is kind of useless (because it's too big). More practical sizes for single person usage is probably a 3.5 qt pot. Performance wise, the stainless steel heats up pretty well. Sometimes it's hard to clean the rivetted areas. Bar Keeper's friends is pretty good in cleaning stainless steel. It returns the pot to a shiny new state. Overall I recommend the line (chef's line), but be wary of the pot size if you don't cook for that many people. Also, this line is not useable on inductive stove tops.

The Cuisinart Multi-Purpose pot is all I need!

This Cuisinart Multi-Purpose Pan is the only pan I really need. If I could pick one thing from the kitchen I can't live without, it's this pan. I can cook with it on the stove or put it in the oven! I like to use it to make soup or pasta then stick it in a  warm oven to keep the food nice and hot until dinner time. The Cuisinart Multi-Purpose pot cleans up very easily, can go in the dishwasher and always looks great! It's big enough that I can store things in it when I'm not using it and the glass lid lets me see what's inside.Another nice feature of the glass lid is that I can keep an eye on what's cooking. The handles are very cool, I feel like I have a good grip on this pan because it has handles on both sides that are big enough to get a good grip on. This pan cooks evenly and seems to heat up fast. Like most Cuisinart products it comes with a lifetime warranty, but I bet I'll never use it. In short, I like this pot!

The cuisinart stainless cookware have been one of the best investments I ever made.  I bought mine piece by piece but wouldn't hesitate to reccomend the sets.  I have pots and pans of all sizes.  I find that I can control cooking temperatures more easily (gas stove) than I could with my old revereware.  I like that I can brown something on the top and move it straight to the oven.  I haven't managed to damage or break anything.  The lids fit snuggly and I never take the flame above med.  I can simmer without boilovers.  The pots are nice and shinny and barkeepers friend is great for hard to scrub.  I don't put my pots in the dishwasher.  I have no problems cleaning greasy food from the surfaces.  I feel that the investment was worth it as I enjoy cooking and eat out less.  My family also likes that I am trying more recipes.  This cookware has given me better control and I am not as intimidated when trying some hard to cook items.  I would never dream of frying eggs in my old ss skillet.  I thought I would only be able to do that with nonstick.  I can with my cuisinart.  I am a big fan of this brand.

Should be called "multi-purpose pot"

I agree with what has been said already. It is very versatile. Take it from burner to oven. Stay cool handles. (on top of the stove) But the thing I like best. The instructions say to cook on medium or lower. I couldn't  believe it but it is true. I can get a very strong boil with the burner on medium low, so I'm saving energy.
