I did not install it. It was professionally installed by a reputable kitchen and bath designer company.

Beautiful flooring but pits easily whenever something hard hits it. How to fix the dings without having to replace tiles constantly is the issue.

In 2008 I chose Congoleum Duraceramic for my flooring when I remodeled my kitchen. The main reasons included the quality appearance, ease of install, as well as the fabulous warranty. I was replacing a Congoleum floating floor that had performed beautifully for 15 plus years. Within the first two years I had noticeable scratches and some spots of color loss in 75 percent of the tiles. I also had 3 tiles that cracked. The company that had done the install as well as Congoleum sent representatives to assess the floor. Believe it or not nothing was covered under the warranty! The cracked tiles were determined to be installer error and the scratched/worn tiles were blamed on my dogs. And of course the install company only guaranteed their work for one year. Now, I agree, my dogs toenails are probably longer than they should be, but come on... This product definitely was not worth the cost for me. I can hardly wait to replace this floor!

We bought a new to us house a few years ago and looked around at various flooring options for some floor replacements.  I loved Congoleum's Dura Ceramic product as soon as I saw it and after having it my home for several years I love it even more.  It has a tile look but a much softer and warmer feel under your feet than tile.  It is so easy to clean and looks great wash after wash.  This is a flooring that really holds up to traffic from kids and crazy dogs!  It somes in a pretty good choice of colors and has a very pretty yet dramatic look when installed.  If you want to give your room an updated look Dura Ceramic is a good flooring product to consider.  It's a flooring that will get noticed and complimented in your home.  We are getting ready to re-do my kitchen floor and Dura Ceramic is really the only flooring choice I am considering.  The hardest part is deciding which one of colors and styles I want because they all are so pretty!  That's the highest praise for a product, when you have it and add more of it to your home.

We purchased this flooring in Dec 2009 after looking for months and debating ceramic vs laminate vs sheet vinyl.  I am really pleased with the look and feel of the floor.  It cleans up easily.  I can't say it looks like ceramic up close, but the overall effect if of a tile.
