Love these pans!

Just recently purchased the circulon hard anodized skillet and I love it! I had to use almost no oil at all because the pans nonstick was truly nonstick unlike some of the previous pans I have owned. The handle feels sturdy. There is excellent weight to this pan. I will definitely be adding more like this to my collection.

The Circulon Hard Anodized Skillet works great

5

we got this skillet earlier this year, thinking that the hard anodized finish would be durable and wouldn't scratch and wear. The skillet coulds well and evenly, so much so that we bought 3 sizes: 8.5, 10 and 12 inches. Doesn't Stick nothing sticks. easy to clean Heat Distribution cooks evenly. We've done eggs, hamburgers, stir-fry. No problems. Ease of Handling I don't understand the question, what's the big deal? it's a skillet. You hold it by the handle. Ease of Cleaning great. Design it does what it is supposed to and you can put it in the oven up to 450 degrees. Dishwasher safe, too, although we wash by hand. Durability fine so far.

My wife wanted a non-stick, oven-proof skillet, so I bought this one for her for Christmas.  I bought the 11" model.  Several of the reviews that I had read stated that I should read the directions carefully, because there are several "Do's and Don'ts".  After reading the directions, I discovered that using cooking spray or vegetable oils may disturb the non-stick coating on this pan.  Olive oil and peanut oil are both "approved", however, so that shouldn't be a problem.  What does concern me is that the directions also tell you not to cook on high-heat in this pan.  I was hoping that I could use this pan to sear chicken, before roasting it in the oven.  I guess I won't be doing that.  I did use the pan to make a frittata on Christmas morning, and it was great.  I didn't have any olive oil or peanut oil on hand, and I didn't want to ignore the instructions, and use non-stick spray or vegetable oil, so I cooked it in a dry pan.  It still released from the pan quite easily.  I did have to run a silicone spatula gently around the edges of the pan, in order to get the eggs to release completely, but after doing that, the frittata slid right out of the pan, and onto the cutting board, all without sticking or tearing.  All in all, the wife and I are very happy with this pan.

The Circulon anodized skillet is great, but not my favorite.

I have gone through a few types of cookware through my adult life. When I was in college I had a cheap set of teflon cookware. It eventually started to scrape off and I learned about how toxic it was. Then I got married and received this pan as a gift. At first I really loved this skillet. I was happy not to have to use teflon anymore, especially for sticky things like eggs. The non-stick surface worked really well for a while and I the sides were great for making stir-frys and such. I learned some more about the different metals used in cookware, including aluminum, and specific to this pan the anodization process. I learned that the aluminum can still (eventually) leech into your food, which is toxic. And eventually the anodized surface wears down and is no longer nonstick with scrambled eggs and such. I now prefer stainless steel to avoid aluminum and cast iron is wonderful for non-stick.

I love my Circulon skillet!

I love my Circulon 12 inch open skillet! I love to cook, although I am not a great cook, and this skillet helps my dishes cook up really well. It is heavy duty, big enough for most of my needs, and evenly distributes the heat of my electric stove top. The unique circular pattern of the non-stick rings are fun if nothing else (although the company claims that they help make the item non-stick and help in the cooking process). After I cook, even the most of burnt of items, the pan easily cleans with some light scrubbing. The main area that could be improved upon for this product, is that food that gets stuck between the rings can get trapped there forever and can be very difficult to get out of the crevices. One Circulon pan that I bought came with a special fork-like device to help clean out the crevices, however, most of the pans that I have bought did not come with this handy cleaning device. Over-all a great pan.

Circulon creates a perfect culinary experience

Circulon has made my cooking experiences way more enjoyable.  This cookware provides ease of release of foods (no sticking) and very even cooking.  Since using Circulon I am a better cook!  I appreciate its' quality and my family appreciates my improved cooking skills.  Also, this skillet is very easy to hold.  I have Fibromyalgia and Arthritis.  Some cookware is too heavy and awkward to hold or carry.  Not so, with the Circulon Skillet.  I can pick it up easiiy with no added pain.  I fully recommend you trying out Circulon and knowing first hand what a difference quality cookware can make for you!
