Pretty Good Soup

3

Campbell's Select Harvest Vegetable and Pasta Light Soup is pretty good. It is low-calorie so it is great for my diet! It makes for a pretty filling lunch. It has nice, real chunks of vegetables like carrots and green peas. The noodles are really tasty and have a good texture, and really help to make the soup filling and satisfying. It is very easy to make-I just pop it in the microwave and voila-a quick lunch that is not ruining my diet!

Stay on track at work

5

Campbell's Select Harvest Vegetable & Pasta Light Soup has become a staple initially in my home and now, at my job as well. Although the soup is lower in calories and fat, it certainly doesn't taste that way. It is very flavorful and filling. I genuinely enjoy the fact that the vegetables are tender but also firm. I have always disliked over cooked vegetables. Although it contains no meat, I didn't miss it not being there. The ample amount of vegetables and noodles give the soup enough bulk to every bite without needing meat. It makes it easy to stay on a healthy eating regimen as well. I can almost effortlessly have a healthy, lower calorie lunch within 2 minutes - rather than going to a drive thru. I would definitely recommend it to my family and, I have already turned some of my co workers into Select Harvest fans. The price of the this soup is very low for the convenience it offers.

Vegetables & Noodles are Delicious, but Broth Tastes like Dirt

2

The title about sums up my experience.  The noodles & vegetables are hearty and not overcooked.  However, the broth has a distinct, light flavor of dirt, as if the vegetables had not been rinsed before being diced.  If you can get over that flavor, it's a low calorie & sodium meal?

As a person who is always on the go, this is a fast good lunch, it's low cal, good amount of fiber, not to much sodium and microwavable.  If you are trying to lose weight or stick to a diet plan, this is a great lunch or dinner - I was completely satisfied and it keep me full all afternoon, plus on a cold day, soup just hits the spot and warms you up!

Light Flavor and Light Calories

3

I eat a lot of soups so am always anxious to try a new kind.  **Campbell's Select Campbell's Select Campbell's: Select Harvest Vegetable & Pasta Light Soup, 15.3 oz** has a really mild flavor, but is low in calories and sodium.  I like that this pasta soup has real chunks of vegetables so that I don't have to add much to it to make it a healthy meal.  It has a good tomato based flavor and lots of pasta pieces that are a good texture and not too chewy.  These soups are easily microwaved and taste great on a winter day and are the perfect meal for someone watching their calorie and fat intake.

Hey, it's lunch.

What I like about Campbell's: Select Harvest Vegetable & Pasta Light Soup is the fact that it's about 1 Weight Watchers point per serving. Yes, the container says 0, but even Campbells admits that over one serving exceeds zero. So if you pull out your WW slide-ruley thingy, it's really close to 1 point. The flavor is very mild, but okay. If you're looking for an outstanding taste, this isn't it. But if you want something to fill you up so you can stack your points into your evening meal, this IS it. It's good enough that I have it for part of my work lunch EVERY DAY. This is also about 40% lower in sodium than regular Campbells soups and Progresso soups. Food companies crack me up. They go after each other like politicians! Progresso now carries the Weight Watchers logo, BUT, they've only recently been low sodium. I like that Campbells has this soup in a microwavable container I can dispose of (I know, not envirofriendly since I don't recycle them.)  I have trouble with acidic tomato soups.  These light soups don't give me heart burn like their regular soups do.  That's a HUGE plus. If progresso starts making their Low Sodium Light Soups in Microwavables, I'll try them.  Their soups have more flavor, but I'm not happy about the high sodium.  I suspect their low sodiums may lack flavor too, but I haven't tried them. If you compare Campbells Canned and Microwavable soups, they carry the SAME nutritional info per serving, even though there's a 3.3 oz difference.  Progresso plays the same game.  They get away with it by using the words "ABOUT 2 SERVINGS."  Not cute.  Be accurate people!  [/ rant] I'm a little afraid that Cambells is pulling back on this product line.  When I first started buying them in October 2008, there were more microwavable options.  :-(
