With my first daughter she had so many rash's I though we were doing something wrong.  Nope she just had really senstive skin.  This was the only product that I found that took care of her rash and did not burn or hurt when we applied it.  Took care of the problem in 1-3 days depending on how bad the rash was.  Also with this product, a little went a long way.  Still have this stocked and have come to learn it also works on adults who are bedridden and get rash's.

As the mother of four children, I know my way around diaper rash.  In fact, I've been dealing with it for 13 years now!  I am confident that I have tried every single diaper rash ointment on the market, and Burt's Bee is BY FAR the best on the market!  The texture is perfect.  It's thick enough that it stays where you put it, which is important when it comes to diaper rash creams because many of them get wiped off as soon as you close the diaper.  However, it's not so thick that you're unable to spread it properly.  The smell is pleasant enough.  It's a bit on the strong side, but not overwhelmingly so.  But the best part is, IT WORKS!  The trick is to use it at the first signs of diaper rash.  If you wait until the rash is extremely red and raw, or if there is evidence of "open blisters"- then it's probably too late.  By the time a rash gets to that stage, it's probably a yeast infection (yes baby boys can get yeast infections too!), and you'll need a Rx from your pediatrician to clear it up. Burt's Bee Baby is a product line that you're going to have to pay a little more for.  But in my experience, it's been worth every extra cent!

We have used this product on both of our kiddos.  In general, I like the company of Burt's Bees.  They are not organically certified, so there are some ingredients that might be a bit harsh on sensitive skin, but most of thier ingredients are truly natural. I appreciate that Burt's Bees stays away from the bigger known, more dangerous chemicals in their products.  This diaper cream was gentle on my baby's sensitive skin, and it cleared up the rash quickly.  It smelled nice - not super scenty, and it went on easily, too.  The best part about this cream is that it does not leave a build-up on my cloth diapers like the more commercial brands do.  The other brands can really ruin the absorbancy of the cloth diapers, while this product does not.  I think there are even better options for diaper creams on the market, but they will cost even more, too.  If you're going for middle of the range in price and quality, Burt's Bees is a good option.

We have tried about every kind of diaper rash treatment available.  Burts is BY FAR the best.  It isn't oily or slimy.  It is very natural (though some may not like the smell...it is strong, but we don't have a problem with it).  It is thick and covers well.  The thing I like about this product the most is how fast it works.  With the other creams, I felt like I was putting it on to protect the skin from further damage and waiting for it to heal.  With this, I put it on and it starts getting better immediately.  We are pretty concerned with what products are made of here, which, aside from how well it works, is what keeps us using this product.  Here is what's in it: sweet almond oil, zinc oxide, beeswax, lavandin hybrida oil, jojoba seed oil, chamomile flower extract, calendula flower extract, lavender oil, tocopherol, canola oil, rosemary leaf extract, soy bean oil.  Find the scary, strange chemical in that list!  :)

I have personally seen this product at work. It clears up, or prevents diaper rash. "Burt's Bees Baby Butt Cream" is mild and gentle. It works as a skin barrier because it goes on thick. Yet it doesn't cake up or dry out. The Butt Cream really does what it say's it does. Many Mom's would recommend this product. It also helps with dry skin and other types of rashes. This cream does not need to be applied and re-applied. It lasts long pretty long and  a little goes a long way.
