We did our research when it came to cribs.  After reading the entire chapter in Best Buy Baby b Consumer Reports, highlighting all important information and checking out many of the highly rated and recmmended cribs, we chose to purchase the Peyton Bonavita crib and room collection.  We love it.  Actually, we loved it so much, we purchased all 3 pieces again for our second one due in jut a few months. The quality of this crib is wonderful.  It is very sturdy and well built.  The wood is strong and good quality as well.  My husband feels the slats are kind of weak, but I've never felt that way.  It was also easy to adjust between the crib levels. The crib is tall, but not too tall.  What I mean by that is:  I a 5'4" and almost 8 months pregnany.  I can still lay my daughter down in her crib.  So it's not too tall.  However, it is tall enough.  My daughter is 15 months and a CLIMBER.  She can't climb out of her crib yet. We also love that the crib and the bedroom set is one that can grow with your child.  We plan of this being the set of bedroom furniture that our daughter takes to college.  Out of all of the bedroom sets we looked at the Peyton Bonavita collection had the largest drawers.
