My college kids always raved about their Brita water products so I decided to give it a try. Last year my last child left for college. She went thru a ton of water while she was around. She HAD to have bottled water, so when she left for college, my husband and I decided to stop the madness with all of the plastic bottles and invest into a Brita water system. My mom had also used a filtration on her water, so I was already sold on the great clean taste. We looked on Amazon, and had several choices. We finally decided to go ahead and get the three and a half gallon jug for our refrigerator. It has one of those spouts like on the wine boxes. There is no drip and I cannot say enough about how cold and clean the water tastes going down. It filters out all of those nasty floating things that one normally sees in a glass of water. They also give you a filter or two in the box. I went ahead and ordered extra filters while on Amazon. Now everyone in our family is a Brita user, grandparents included!! Once you give it a try, you will be amazed at how much you save in bottled water not to mention doing the planet a great favor at the same time!!

We got brita Ultra max dispenser when using their typical jug was not enough and you had to keep filling it every 4-5 hours which is quiet cumbersome and this one works well when you need the water stored and its enough for your family. Now I am not wild about this for different reasons like:- I noticed sometimes the water leaks and I do not understand why. The fliter works great and the continer is sturdy.. I Think it leaks near the cap but its not too much and I can live with it. It not super cheap that you can throw it if you do not like it. The second thing i do not like is to clean it and yes you would need to clean it every month. Water can easily get contaminated and its not easy when clenaing this one. Though the tap and every thing does come off still I dont love cleaning this fliter. The filters used in this are the same ones used for their judge and which is nice. I have both so it works well for me and you can directly fill cold water and it wont be easy to place this inside your fridge. Its white so it means it collects duct and you can see it. I think thats a plus and u would know you need to clean it much more often which could have been overlooked had anything been darker. It has great amounts to hold water and it works very well. the fliter works great and the dispenser is also not cheaply made but well built. Still, I know the water drips so I wont say its super. The tap comes off when you clean it which is nice but sometimes I feel probably we cant screw it or completely tighten it which may cause the water to leak. But its a nice feature that it comes as that definitely needs clenaing. Overall its is nice to have this and not to keep filling the jug and the water disaaperaing every hour or so. This is big so you will find its easy to use and it is useful.

I worry about the quality of my water; yet I find it wasteful to buy bottled water. A filtered pitcher seemed like the perfect compromise for me. I purchased the Brita UltraMax because it was large enough that I didn't need to refill it every day. It holds over 1 gallon. While the filters are expensive, the cost is still less than bottled water or having water delivered to the house. The filters last a good while. There is a digital readout that will tell you when it is time to replace the filter. This readout does require a 5-year battery. On the downside, the battery is non-replaceable; making the pitcher ultimately disposable. The filtering system removes chlorine, zinc, benzene, lead, mercury and a host of other bad for you substances. It does not, however, remove fluoride. I love the taste of the water. It rivals any bottled water I have drank in the past. I use my filtered water for everything in the kitchen; for making coffee or tea, and for cooking.

When we bought are new home we decided to by Brita 35530 UltraMax Digital Water Dispenser. This one was just the right size for us and it would fit in are refrigerator. The filters on it lasts for a very long time and not too expensive to buy. I enjoy filling it up and setting it on the counter for my child to help him self to the water. It is so easy to use that my child loves to go get his own water out of it. Ever since he has been able to help him self to the water we keep it on the counter for him all the time. He never really liked super cold water and he is happy with it out on the counter. There are times that we want colder water so all we do is fill the fill area with ice and let it melt. We sometimes add a little water to the ice to help it melt faster. This is the best thing for us because we all drink a lot more water now. We have noticed that since we are drinking more water that we have lost a few pounds and it is nice to loose a few pounds by just drinking water. The brita removes all the bad stuff in water and when you drink it, it taste like fresh spring water.

My mom bought this to filter out water for cooking soup because she didn't think the water we bought from store is good enough. ...I honestly don't know if it works as advertised because I can't tell the difference. My tongue is numb I guess. My mom claimed it works however, so I'll take her word for it. It is a pain in the ass to use though, compared to just buying water from outside--or maybe I'm just lazy but standing there for what feels like hours filling up the thing is just..not very efficient in my opinion. Also in my opinion, I don't think it's worth it what with the expensive filters and all. It's too much work and it's not very inexpensive either, I'd rather just buy water from from outside. My mom would recommend it, I wouldn't.

Brita 35530 UltraMax Digital Water DispenserThis was one of the first items we threw on our registry when our engagement was announced. When we did not receive it we exchanged some other thing for it. We live in an urban area where the tap water is "supposed" to be "really good" and my husband who great up here does not mind drinking. I grew up drinking natural spring water so I've been Brita-ing my water since I moved here in 1996. This is the big daddy of Britas, a tank of a water filter system. It takes up a solid 1/3 of the top shelf of our refrigerator and cannot be refilled unless there are no dishes in our sink. I let the water filter through, then fill it again before I lug it back to the fridge. The digital readout tells my husband when to change the filters, which are not cheap but do last a while.

Our tap water is kind of iffy as far as taste and health, we have hard water and so I am not really comfotable having us, especially the kids, drink the water straight from the tap. I have been using water filtration products for several years now so that I can feel better about drinking our water and it is true that tap water filtration systems save loads of money compared to purchased bottled water! I was very excited to discover this Brita product - we drink a lot of water and so I felt like I was constantly filling up the smaller pitchers and waiting for them to filter the water before we could drink from them. This dispenser holds a great amount of water! The pull tab spout makes it really easy for everyone (even the kids!) to fill up their glass with clean water! I like how well this dispenser fits in my refrigerator, taking up minimal space but still serving it's function well! This is a great product and other water filtration companies should take note from Brita about a great product!

Ive had my BRITA water filter for years and love it. You definitely taste a difference with the Brita. One of the things I notice you have to do more often is clean out the pitcher because it gets dirty with refills. The filter makes the water taste more like Poland Spring to me. I live in NYC and our water from the pipe doesn taste too bad so when its filtered with BRITA it taste andlooks better. Another con is that the refills for the Brita are very expensive and doesnt last that long. On the box I beleive they said you can use it up to 3 months but I drink water a lot usually change the filter every two months. They have so many varities of BRITA, for the kitchen sink or an individual bottle which I think is very but can be costly. However, its worth the money for those health conscious people who want cleaner water. I havent tried other filters to do a comparison, so stick with the best and buy the BRITA, you wont be disappointed.

My family is a large family. There are 5 of us, and all us drinking water, we go through the max dispenser in a day and a half. We used to have the small pictcher but that was being constantly refilled, which was annoying. We love our big dispenser. The price is great for the product, the only downside is the replacing of the filter, but that will happen for any water filter system. We have had our dispeser for 4 years now, and it is still in great condition. I would recommend this product to anyone, and its easy to clean and use. The tap is simple to use for those who have difficulties in opening things, but that is also a downside if you have little children running around. You better keep it out of their reach or you will have a lot of water to clean up!! :)

I try to do my best to recycle, walk as often as possible instead of using my car, and essentially not leaving a larger mark on this planet than humans have already done so, so i felt incredibly guilty buying bottled water but there's nothing that compares to the taste until now. The Brita water dispenser is a great home water purifying system and it fits snugly in the fridge. I have an aluminum bottle that i refill with my Brita water on a daily basis (several times a day in fact). The water filters quickly and it tastes like the expensive water bottles that I used to buy so I'm not missing a thing and I now don't have to feel bad about drinking great tasting water, and at a very low cost compared to what i used to spend on all those bottles! This is also very large and you don't have to refill it very often (especially if you're single like me). I also love the easy dispensing spout, so convenient!
