Worst mascara I've ever used.

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

Not sure if I just got a bad tube of this mascara or what, but it's the worst I've ever used. I opened it the first day I bought it and it's either dried up inside or just a bad, bad mascara. The applicator comes out of the tube and looks like there isn't any mascara on it. I have to apply 3-4 coats to make any difference in the look of my lashes, and even then it's barely noticeable. Horrible.

LUSH Ocean Salt for super soft skin

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

LUSH Ocean Salt Scrub is great, but very pricey. Fortunately I only use a little bit when I use it. The first time I tried it was in the store. The sales associate applied Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter to my hands then topped it with Ocean Salt and massaged my hands. When I rinsed it off after she was done, my hands were super soft and my cuticles looked great. I love to use this in winter when my hands need some extra TLC but it's great for any time of year.

Makes cleaning the toilet as pleasant as can be.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've been using the Clorox Toilet Wand for years and I love it. As much as one can love cleaning the toilet, that is. But it does make the job so much quicker and easier when all you have to do is pop on a cleaning pad, swish, scrub and toss. I can't see myself ever going back to using a liquid product and having that nasty toilet brush hanging around my bathroom all the time.

The only thing that bothers me is the waste and the cost. I have to just mentally deal with the fact that the pad is to be used once and tossed. But I pick up the cleaning pads by the dozen at my local warehouse club store and save lots of money there.

Great little device

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

All in all I like my iPod nano. I don't use it nearly as often now that I have an iPhone but it's still nice to have when I don't want to carry the phone with me. It's tiny and weighs practically nothing which is great for using around the house and yard when I want to listen to a book or music while cleaning or gardening.

Great multi-purpose bowl

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I've had this bowl for years and still turn to it a few times each week for various tasks. I use it mostly for mixing pancake and waffle batter but I also use it to measure large quantities of water for rice and making Lipton rice or noodle side dishes in the microwave.

Great soap for sensitive skin

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

As I've developed some sensitivity to fragrances, my doctor suggested that I try Neutrogena soap. This was the only Neutrogena body soap I could find at my local drugstore so I gave it a try and have not had any problems since. It's a bit on the expensive side, but no moreso than the pricey Lush soaps I've been buying for years so I'll continue to purchase and use this. I like that it's all natural and the ingredients are listed on the back of the package in large writing and indicate whether they are vegan or otherwise. Very helpful.

My chubby kitty's favorite wet food

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have two cats. One is tiny and doesn't eat much, but my chubby girl Luna loves her canned cat food so I try to reward her with a can a few times a week. We rotate through a few different brands but Fancy Feast Appetizers seem to be some of her favorites.

Zumba workouts are tons of fun

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My mom bought me a Zumba DVD a few years back and I've only just started using it recently. I have NO idea what took me so long as I really enjoy it.

I am very coordinated but when I watched the people in the infomercial I had serious doubts about my ability to learn the steps and truly enjoy myself. However I watched the basics DVD, and found that they broke each step down into 3-4 smaller steps and I was able to learn them quickly.

Zumba is a really good workout and lots of fun. The only caveat is that you cannot wear a regular fitness shoe when doing Zumba. Many of the moves involve twisting the ankles, knees, and hips so a shoe with a slightly more slippery sole (like a dance shoe) is...

Could never go back to a regular coffee maker

Overall

Love this version of the Keurig. I upgraded from the mini when I accidentally burned the motor up and am so happy with the upgrade. Love that I can make three different sizes and everyone gets their favorite type of coffee.

Worked OK but caused months of health problems

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have had mixed results with this. I really wanted for it to work out but it's not right for me and my doctors have advised me to discontinue use.

The first month I hated it for 3 days. It was a pain to get in and out and somewhat messy. Then I got used to it and thought I can do this. After the end of the 5 days I thought for sure it was giving me a UTI but the sensation went away after a few days and all seemed well.

So the 2nd month I decided to give it another try but it didn't work quite as well. There is a learning curve with this product. When it's inserted correctly, it works great. But when it's slightly off, look out, what a disaster. That pretty much sums up the 2nd month.

I...

Keep them on hand always.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I keep Luna bars in my purse and car for when I get crazy hungry and want to resist making a bad on the go decision (i.e., fast food). The caramel nut brownie flavor is my favorite. It's sort of like a brownie and oatmeal combined into one. It's very rich and chewy so you get a good chewing sensation with the rich chocolate taste so it's quite satisfying.

All you need for every hair type

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Really basic conditioner but it comes in lots of scents and formulations for different hair types so there's something for every hair type. It's also very inexpensive and a little goes a long way, so it's a good value. All around good product for everyone.

Indispensable tool when planning your cruise

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've taken several cruises and always use the Cruise Critic site to get the low down on the ship, excursions, and staterooms. I use the site prior to booking as well as after booking to plan out my trip to take advantage of all the ship has to offer. Cruise Critic is a must visit site if you're planning a cruise or have already booked. It's really an indispensable tool for being the most prepared.

Not my favorite. Very basic, stiff, and coarse.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I can only rate Peaches n Creme cotton yarn as OK. I've used it for years to make dishcloths, bathmats, and market bags, but it's not my favorite by far. It does the job but I find that it is stiff and coarse and quite splitty when working with it. The finished product is always too stiff and coarse and already looks faded.

It's also difficult to knit with as it has absolutely no give or slip so it's easy to get one's work knitted too tightly.

I much prefer Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn Cotton yarn as it's softer and the colors are more rich.
