I have used this hairspray for years. Recently, the can design and formula changed. It's very heavy and sticky with little hold. Wish they'd revert back to the original product. Have stopped buying this the last few months. A waste of money.

I have used WR unscented hair spray for years, it's all I ever buy. I just purchased 4 cans in the newly designed can and it stinks. The only difference I can tell is the new can says "with active botanicals". I always liked the fact that it was unscented and did a great job holding my hair, but I can't take the chemical smell it has now. Previously I would given it a 10, now it's a 5 because of the smell. Fix it please!!

The last time I bought hair spray, I bought White Rain Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray. I like the fact that the hair spray did not have a scent. Scented hair sprays always makes me sneeze. This hair spray did not have a scent which is great, but unfortunately the hair spray did not hold my hair style very well. I used to use Suave extra hold hair spray. but I hated the way it made my hair feel. Because I had to spray so much spray to get it to hold the curl right, my hair became super sticky and stiff. If I did not wash my hair until the following day, my hair would have white specs all in it and look greasy. It made me look like someone who never washes their hair and has lice or really bad dandruff. So I thought maybe the White Rain extra hold hair spray will do the trick. I was happy that it did not leave white specs in my hair or made it super sticky, but very disappointed to find out that it did not hold very well. Very disappointed!

This hair spray is one of the worst and ineffective hair sprays I have ever tried. White Rain Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray left my hair in a flaky mess. This hair spray didn't do much holding and it was far from being unscented. This hair spray was misleading and did nothing but damage my hair and leave it looking dry and with a white flaky residue. I was extremely disappointed in the results I got from using this hair spray. It was the absolute worst that I've ever tried. It was priced reasonably but for better results it's best not to use this cheap brand. It is not beneficial to my overall health of my hair and it is not beneficial to me in general. Trying this brand I really didn't know what to expect because it was my first time trying it and I never plan on using it again. This hair spray left my hair extra hard but it didn't hold it in place as it should have. I don't see this hair spray in my future.

These days its easy to find hair care products from inexpensive to over the top in cost. Finding a hairspray you like is not that easy if you have to try different brands to see what works for you. I personally like White Rain hairspray because it is such a great value cost wise. The greatest thing about it other than the cost is that it works. I have thick unruly hair that I have to tame with a product or it looks like I have an unruly mop on my head. White Rain tames it and doesn't make it flat or stiff. It smells good too. My daughter has thing damaged hair and she likes it too because it doesn't weigh it down and holds good in any kind of weather. I highly recommend all of their products.

White Rain Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray is not a product you can depend on to hold your hair into place. It takes a little longer to dry than other brands of hairspray, and often dries into little beads or flakes. I used to keep a bottle with me at all times, but after finding new brands that are more effective, I no longer purchase White Rain hairspray.

I have long, thick, curly hair and it's hard to lay it down and keep it in place. Surprisingly, this White Rain unscented extra hold hair spray works amazingly for me. I don't have to use half the can to get the job done, and it's not extra sticky. Other hair sprays make my hair look flaky, and this one doesn't. It's really useful.

I love White Rain Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray. I have long, curly hair that frizzes very easily and does not have much body. I use this hair spray on a daily basis for my hair and it works great. It holds my hair in place all day long better than any other hair spray I have every used and it is cheaper than most other types of hair spray I have tried. I love how this hairspray holds your hold so well, but does not give it that hard, crunchy look like other hairsprays have that I have used. White Rain Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray holds your hair so well while keeping it looking very natural and soft. It looks like your hair does not have much hairspray on at all. I also love the inexpensive price of this hairspray. One can will last a long time also, because you do not need to use a lot of this hairspray to get a hold that will last all day long. I only need to use this one time when I first style my hair and it holds all day.

I have tried several hairsprays over the years in an attempt to find just the right one. Of course like most women I want it all. I want my hair to stay in place, but I don't want to have crunchy looking hair. I do not want to further damage my hair by using a harsh product, yet I need something that I can use everyday. After trying several salon products and paying a lot of money to only be dis-satisfied, I finally found it where I least expected- at the drugstore! The White Rain Unscented Extra hold hairspray gave me exactly what I was looking for. It is very cheap to purchase and yet it is one of the best products I have found. It keeps my hair in place, yet leaves it looking soft and supple. The following day, it brushes through nicely and my hair still looks clean and fresh. It does not seem to build up on my hair and is very easy to wash out. I love this hairspray and with the price of it, I do not see changing any time soon.

Hairsprays are always a risk when you buy them, whether they'll work well or whether they won't. I've probably tried about all the varieties over the years. Some of the most typical problems I've had with them over the years are:  they leave your hair sticky or so hard it feels gross to touch, sometimes they don't hold a style at all and sometimes the pump gets plugged and you can't get it to work again.  Not so with White Rain Unscented Extra Hold!  You can buy this at any grocery store or mass merchandiser and it is *dirt cheap*!  I really think it is comprable to the higher priced name brands that you always see advertised, only it costs a fraction of the price.  I also like the way it's unscented so you don't have that overwhelming chemical fume in your bathroom for awhile.  It holds your style well in any kind of weather too, which is the important feature.  If you haven't already, give White Rain a try.  My guess is you might just switch!
