Doesn't work all that well for pain. Causes side effects like itching, constiaption, weight loss, and messes up your mood! Lost weight on this and lowers your seizure threshold. Has interactions with just about every medicine there is! Hate it! Manufactured to be "non addicting" but that's BULL SH*T! This is terribly addicting and withdrawls are a bitc*! Deffinately do not reccommend this!

Much to my disappointment, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple of years ago. This means that sometimes I'm in so much pain that I can't sleep as well as the pain during the day. I have several chronic conditions, so I am used to just trying to ignore it. But sleep is a necessity, in the end. Also, it is pleasant to be able to use all of your limbs, not to mention move your neck left AND right.  When I went to the rheumatologist, he figured out it was fibromyalgia. My Dr prescribed Tramadol. It made a HUGE difference. I eventually found that I also need to add extra strength Tylenol, and I can sleep again. It's nice to take something for the pain which is not habit-forming. The days that I don't need to take it as the pain is more managable, I don't feel any kind of withdrawal or need to take it. I was later given the option to switch to something with a much higher risk of being habit-forming, but I have chosen to stick with Tramadol.
