We have the little tykes red race car bed. My boys have each passed it down to eachother. It is a great sturdy bed. you can put a box spring in if you would like and you can just remove the slats on the bottom or it comes with the board slats to not have a boxspring. The hood comes up and can be used for shoes or a toy box. There is also a spot at the head of the bed that you can store books or stuffed animals on. The only downside if you are a worisome parent is that my boys all loved to stand the bookshelf part and jump off on to the bed. They did get themselves hurt a ew times. It is also a little bit on the bigger size so you wouldnt want to use it in a smaller bedroom. otherwise a fantastic bed!
