Got a new Ryobi leaf blower model 9055 for Xmas in 2012, ran fine for about 15 minutes then died, haven't been able to get restarted since. Now I have to find a service man to repair it, even with a 3 year waranty I'm sure there will be additional hastles to come. Home depot should take this back and use their leverage to make Ryobi fix the problem or give me a complete refund. Handling great if your left handed.

Extremely hard to start and designed for left handed people.

I wouldn't recommend this product, it is extremely hard to start time after time. The blower has a nice trigger feature which I like. Another problem with this blower is that it was designed for left handed people. When you try to change hands and use it in your right hand it sucks your clothing into the motor vents. Overall buy something else you will be much better off.

I think this is a disposable model

As noted, this thing is underpowered. I purchased it exclusively for it's vacuum mode and was unimpressed with it's ability. Like other reviewers, the fan/impeller on mine broke...not completely, but it was enough to further weaken the system. To top it all off, the zipper on the leaf bag eventually lost it's grip and constanly flew open spilling debris everywhere during operation. If you buy 10, it will last yout ten years...maybe nine.

Doesnt suck, doesnt blow

Well this unit is almost useless, doesnt have enough wind power to blow the leaves far enough to make it worth your time, the suction size to suck up leaves is way to small with not enough power.  might as well rake it yourself.  I would not recommend this to anyone, would have been better with the shop vac attachment
