Comments about ProForm 500 LE Elliptical Machine:
It worked great, but broke and it is expensive to fix. Customer service is okay, but they can't replace the parts so you have to source it yourself. The box it came in was missing pieces too which customer service quickly replaced, but there was just a lot of little problems.
When this was working, it worked great. You could really get a good workout on this machine and the fan on it was nice and cooled you off.
As far as a workout machine goes, this was comfortable. Nice wide platforms for your feet and big handles to grab on to
Ease of Use
Very intuitive and easy to use. There is a handle on the back of the machine so you can easily move it around the house in and out of the way.
After about a month, one of the plastic covers cracked. Then despite trying to tighten more bolts, it started creaking the whole time during use. Then the display and speaker broke, only after a year of use. To replace the display cost about half the price of the machine.
Breaks easily and creaks. If you use batteries in the display, you have to pull them out since there is no on or off switch. You have to pay extra to get the plug to plug it in. So while the machine is functional, it could use an over haul with better parts.
