I love my lift chair. I like being able to get up without the assistance of another person. I like being about to be more mobile. I also like that I can put my feet up. My other chair was hard to get out of by myself and I couldn't put the foot rest down by myself. Lift chairs are great. The chairs come up slow so you don't have to worry about them coming up to fast and you accidentally falling out of them. The also can stand you completely up so you don't have to use any strength to get to a standing position. If I had to recommend a lift chair to anybody I would definitely and positively do it. It makes life so much easier. I can get up and answer the phone on my own, or get a snack, or go to the bathroom by myself. I also like being able to get up and take care of my furry family pets on my own. I feel like I am contributing to my household again and not just being a burden on them.
