Finally a good harness for pulling dogs!

5

After trying out 4 different types of harnesses for our pulling dog (she broke 1 on a walk!!) this is finally a product that works!! Walking my dog has never been so enjoyable as it was with this harness on. If the dog pulls when walking it will pull them sideways since the hook is in the front of their chest and not on top of their back. This seems to be a gentle way to correct them, since they do not want to be walking sideways! I have a wheaton terrier and didn't think that a 40 pound dog could pull me so hard, but after trying a few different harnesses out and having no luck this is the type of product that works well. It has 2 different clam areas so it is easy to put on and fits really well. It is lightweight and durable. It was easy to walk and not be pulled and I will go and recommend this to all of my friends. This has been a search 4 years in the making now and everyone knows. I cannot wait to have my friends walk my dog now to see the difference.

Must have for pullers.

If your dog cannot contain himself or herself during walks and you simply cannot control the tugging, this harness is perfect for you. This harness is a completely humane way of controlling and teaching your dog. It is a martingale type harness with a circular part that tightens the harness around the dog's chest if it pulls. This harness gives the walker a whole lot of control. Since the leash is clipped to the front of the harness instead of the back, the walker can actually turn the dog around with a pull of the lease if the dog is tugging too hard or walking too fast. The harness does not hurt your dog and will not pinch them like prong collars do. This harness will only tighten around your dog, but will not in anyway choke or squeeze your dog too hard. My dog has been difficult to control on walks, but after getting this harness, walking can be enjoyed by me as well.

Premier Easy Walk Large Harness A godsend

5

This harness is the best one I have ever purchased and I have bought many over the years. I have a 60lb boxer/pit mix 8mnth old puppy. Walking her was becomming a nightmare. She pulled and tugged me almost off my feet. I bought this harness hoping that it would help but was skeptical. As I said I have bought many anti-pull harnesses in the past with bad results. This harness after getting it adjusted properly, the hardest part, worked like a dream..It brought the joy back into our walks. One word of caution my dog can get out of this harness easily when not actively walking. It would not be good to use it as a tie out and when we take her in the car we use a regular leash until we get to where we are going to walk. It will also need to be readjusted a few times in the beginning.

I have tried other collars, leads for my dog but this one is the best by far. No pulling at the dog, I don't have to worry about it hurting her. She actually enjoys it when she see's me getting it out for her. It is easy to put on and adjust. A must have in my opininion for anyone with a larger dog.

Premier Easy Walk Large Harness Can Handle My Bullmastiff

5

The Premier Easy Walk Large Harness can handle my 105lb bullmastiff. We tried some normal collars at first and he had a tendency to go wherever he wanted but the Premier Easy Walk Harness keeps him in line. Considering we knew our dog was going to get big pretty fast we knew we had to act quickly. This harness come in a variety of colors and sizes depending on the size of your dog and color you want. It has two clips and looks a little confusing at first glance but is very easy to use. We leave the one clip clipped at all times so we slip his head through the one hole then the other strap goes under him behind his front legs and clips on the other side. It is easy to use, quick to put on, and does not bother our doggy at all. Once we started using this harness he quickly realized that if he pulled he would get yanked to the side and after a few times out he stopped pulling. We continue to use the harness even though he is very good on a leash now because we feel safer know that if he sees something and try to take off he will quickly realize he's not getting away that easily.

Good as a Gentle Leader and my dog likes this better

5

After using the Gentle Leader facial harness for almost three years, I made the switch to the Premier Easy Walk Harness. I would have been happy to use the Gentle Leader forever, but took my dog for a walk the other day and it dropped out of my pocket and I lost it. My dog wasn't wearing the Gentle Leader at that point because she hates it. I think it bugs her to have her nose pulled around (especially since she is major sniffer and loves to explore the world that way) and she clearly found the top band that went on her nose uncomfortable (she was always try to get it off). She also won't go to the bathroom or eat with the Gentle Leader on. So after losing it, I decided to try the walking harness. Because it needs to go all the way around her chest, it is a much bigger item, but she is much more comfortable in it and doesn't resist us putting it on the way she did with the leader. And she is willing to go to the bathroom with the harness on, which is nice because then I won't take it off while she does her business and risk losing another walking harness. This harness still keeps her from pulling and allows me to direct which way to walk, so I think we will stick with the Premier Easy Walk Harness for a long time to come.

Help me walk a 90lb american bulldog!

5

I have a 90lb americanbulldog who is deaf. I am a 120lb (soaking wet)  women. I love to walk my dogs and take them for runs but I could never walk my american bulldog because he pulled so much! The leash woudl hurt my hand and I would have to hold on a pole or something else so that he didn't drag me down the block. Even when my fiancee tried to walk him the would have to tie a teeshirt around th leash so it didn't hurt his hand. So a friend told us about the EZ walk harness and we tried it because we were desperate. This harness, unlike others who encourage the dog to pull, for lack of a better word trips the dog up so that he can't pull. the leash is in the front so when he pulls the harness pulls and makes his head go down and trips him so that he cant pull. It doesn't hurt the dog in anyway it just makes it very hard for him to be able to pull. I have lots of animal lover friends, dog trainers, friends who work in rescue and at shelters and I have only ever heard good things about this harness. It is definitely great for walking a huge dog who loves to pull!
