After I've used up my last hairspray, I went to the local department store and was deciding on the gazllion brands of different hairsprays.  So I saw this hairspray and gave it a try. I thought since it's a famous brand of Pantene Pro-V, it wouldn't be that bad even if it isn't what I expected.  But fortunately, it's what a famous brand is known for.  The quality is unprecedented since the spray will make your hair hold for all day.  I have yet to have a day when the hairspray failed to hold my hair tight throughout the day.  The hairspray isn't too "watery" or too "oily" where I've used other hairsprays which are like that, but this Pantene hairspray is a perfect match of both quality.  Also, for those that don't like when other hairsprays have fragrance or who are allergic to the smell of the fragrances, this hairspray is perfect for that too because it is fragrance-free which is good for those people who can't take the smell of the fragrances (me being one of them).  I highly recommend this hairspray over other brands!

I am proud to be able to write this review for Pantene Pro V Texture Ultimate Textures Ultra Hold Ultra Control (isn't that a mouthful?) hairspray. But I am not proud at everything I have to tell you. Let me get the bad out of the way. It has been discontinued. I don't like that at all. It worked wonders with my hair. it wasn't a sticky tyep hairspray. In fact, when I used it, I did not really know I using it if that makes any sense. It would go on lightly and conservatively. But like its name, it did hold well and held all day.I liked the fact that I could use it and then restyle my hair afterwards if I wanted to. It held the same. I don't know why they discontinued it since it was so good, but I guess there weren't people who knew about it. Only if I had written this reveiew before they made that decision. I am sure that would have changed their minds...grin. Really, you MAY be able to locate this in some of the older stores that haven't pulled it yet. It has been discontinued for a while now, but the shelf life is long.

I love, love, love this hairspray! I have very fine hair, and it just instantly gives it texture and volume. It can be a little sticky at times, but I'm willing to pay that price if my hair doesn't fall flat on my head. If the nozzle gets clumpy or stopped up, just hold it under some hot water in the sink to unclog it - easy as that! It's kind of like a spray gel...make sure you hold the bottle/can away from your hair and lightly (emphasis on the lightly) mist the underside and then (barely) the top - you don't want greasy roots! The price is great, too! To make it even cheaper, look online or in the circulars for Proctor and Gamble coupons...there's usually a buy two, get one free. Again, this works better than any salon-style product I've ever used, so don't be reluctant to stock up! The only down side is how big the bottle/can is...I've never seen a travel sized version, so I often how to go without it!
