a busy person, a bargain hunter
I used to dread pulling out my huge boxes of pictures, but now that I got this Cricut machine I look forward to scrapbooking. The hardest part of scrapbooking for me was trying to figure out how I can make each page a little unique or special. This task becomes extremely easy with the Cricut machine. — You can have the machine cut out frames, shapes, letters, and just about anything else that your heart desires. I do have to caution all the ladie out there though. You WILL get sucked into buying quite a few extra cartridges just because you have to have the Disney…

I bought the original Cricut (or "baby bug" as it is sometimes referred to) in the summer of 2006 and it has been such a time saver. The price of it was pretty expensive, but it has already paid for itself. Before I bought the Cricut, to make titles for my scrapbooks I would print letters out individually on card stock, cut them out with an Xacto knife and then use them as a stencil to trace letters on paper and then cut those letters out to put on my scrapbook pages. It took forever!! Now with the Cricut I can cut letters and shapes out in no time flat. The Cricut machine comes with the…

purchased for versatility, quality conscious
I've owned the Cricut machine for about a year now. I bought it at a sale price, which was great! Aside from the high price point of both the machine and the software products, I think this is a great buy. I use it all the time for my scrapbooking / card making projects. And I've just recently discovered that they have colored inks that you can use in place of the cutting tool to have the machine draw the shapes / letters instead of cutting them out! That has made this already wonderful product even more desirable. I do wish they offered more software…

I own the original cricut and 6 fonts including the disney. It is a wonderful product. It has occastional very minor glitches every once in a while just like any computer but it is very easy to fix them by just shutting it off and turning it back on. It is quick, doesn't take a lot of space and easy to use. The replacement pieces are not incredibly expensive like the cutting blade and the cutting mat. I have owned this for one year and still have yet to replace the blade and have only replaced the cutting mat one time. They lose their stickiness after much…

I recieved this item for Christmas. It is not something I would have purchased for myself, it is too expensive for me. But I recieved it and I have enjoyed "playing" with it ever since. The machine is very easy to use. the cartridges come wiht an idea book highlighting all of the capabilities of the individual cartridge. The cartridges are quite expensive though. I would spend time researching the internet for the best deals on the accesories to go along with this product. I would also invest in a nice storage container, craft bag to keep it…

The Provocraft Cricut is the answer for the crafter who wants top quality personalized die cuts that they can cut in their own home. The Cricut offers more versatility for the crafter than ever available before. The Cricut can cut many sizes and offers lots of options. The cartridges are expensive, but contain lots of images. The ability now with the Cricut Design Studio allows the crafter to design from multiple cartridges on the computer screen and, by clicking a button, tells the Cricut what to cut. The images can even be welded together. This machine is…

Scrapbooker, married, a woman, appreciate nice things, Interested in the best deal, Creative
I absolutely love my Cricut! I bought the Quickutz tool but never bought any more alphabets because they were so expensive and it was so labor intensive to punch out the letters. This is so, so easy! I also have seven cartridges, since great deals can be found on them as well. I can cut any size letter from one inch to five and a half, and now that there is a computer software program to weld letter and create designs based on the shapes for each cartridge, your own creativity is really the only limit to what this machine can…

Yeah-its expensive. But as a woman who gets mad when thrift stores charge to much, its so worth it. I bought mine from a very popular auction website and saved about 150 bucks, so I will admit I don't have as much as invested in it as others. It is a pricey toy-but I am a teacher and I get my money out of it. It made me love scrap booking and the cartridges are going on my wish list for xmas next year. The lil adhesive pads loose their stick pretty quick, but I cheat and use either a spray or a repositional tape to "refresh" instead of replace.…

into trying new things, a person who likes a bargain, into trying new products
I have only had my cricut machine for a few months. When I first purchased it, I did not think I would need any more cartridges (different fonts, tags, etc) than the one that came with the machine. Three months later, I now have 3 different cartridges. What I love about the machine is that I never have to purchase any more alphabet stickers. I can simply cut out all the letters I want and in the shape and size that I want. This machine makes scrapbooking lots more fun and less expensive. I love my machine. —…

I believe in honesty
After pining over the Cricut for almost a year, my husband bought it for me. I love it because I no longer have to buy packs of various-sized alphabet stickers or mess with trying to stamp or stencil letters when I scrapbook or make cards. With the ability to change font size and create backgrounds for them, I use this every time I work on a scrapbook. My friends come to my house to scrap just to borrow my Cricut! The only downside is the need to replace the cutting mat...although mine lasted for about 4 months before it needed…

Looked at getting one of these for a long time. When Wal-mart finally had them on black Friday for $119, my Mom said she would chip in so I could get it for Christmas. I have already made sympathy, birthday, and my Husband's Valentine card with it. The cartridges can be a bit pricey, but I found a place that has them for under $40. I also saw some places online that "rent" them. I checked out project websites where people upload photos of things they have made with the the…

I bought the Cricut because it was on sale at my local craft store. I am a big card maker and having the Cricut has allowed me to do so much more with my crafting. The refill supplies needed for the cricut are reasonably priced at Walmart and the cartridges can bought on sale and on the internet. — …
