I am always on the go and there's nothing worse than having a bad hair day when it rains. I have tried a variety of hairsprays and I prefer different kinds for different hairstyles. I've been looking for an all around hairspray that will suit my hair when I wear it up or down. I run across a great deal on Chi Helmet Head Hairspray and decided to try it. I have experience with this brand and if the hairspray is as good as their other products I just had to try it. The name gave me the impression that it was going to leave my hair stiff and hard but the complete opposite is true. The first time I used Chi Helmet Head was on a rainy humid day and I was going to be outside off and on during the day. I have shoulder length fine hair and usually wear my hair up in a clip on rainy days. I will curl my hair to add volume and twist my hair in a clip and I need hairspray to achieve this hairstyle to hold my curl and style in place. I sprayed my hair with Chi Helmet Head in between curling every strand and it has the best scent. After curling I allow my hair to set then brush the curls out and I was very impressed with how this hairspray brushed out with the curl but my hair still held curl because of the hairspray. My hair wasn't hard and sticky, it was manageable and soft. Finally I twisted my hair pulling it up and sprayed my hair with Chi Helmet Head. I was left with a hairstyle that was beautifully in place but was it going to hold up to the rain and humidity that day? I was taking a chance trying a new hairspray on a day that I usually will have a bad hair day. That humid dreary day Chi Helmet Head did an awesome job holding my updo hairstyle and I didn't have to reapply hairspray that day. I was thrilled on how well this hairspray held up to the outside elements. After this day Chi Helmet Head is one of my favorite hairsprays and my go to styling product on humid days. It is a great hairspray that really holds but doesn't leave the hair hard and stiff.

Once, when I was at the hairdresser's, she sprayed my hair with a wonderful-smelling hairpray. I immediately asked her what it was, and she showed me the bottle of Chi Helmet Head. I fell in love. It has such a perfumey -- though not overpowering -- scent that complements what I already wear. It is light  but noticable. I'm really into scent, so that's important to me. How does it work, though. Well it is a professional-grade hairspray, and that always makes a difference. it holds my hair in place -- I wear my hair long, so it's really only sprayed in the front. I can even spray it and run my fingers theough for a mussed look; you need to do that right away in order to avoid just getting sticky spikes. This hairspray is not normally a sticky sort, though. I also like that it does not build up in my hair -- one of the definitive advantages to using a professional product. Overall, a product that's worth the price.

I was at my hair dresser having my hair cut.  I wear it pretty short and straight as a lot of it has fallen out and it is very fine.  She got all done ( I didn't say anything, but I couldn't see where it was any shorter).  Well they had a special going on and if I bought one product I could get another free.  Well you can not pass up a deal like that, so I went looking around and saw this name and couldn't help but think CHI Helmet Head sound's pretty strong for a lady with fine falling out hair, so I bought it.  I couldn't help it.  Well they were right I look like I have a very strong Helmet on my head.  Don't ya just love the fact that you get what you pay for!
