Love it! Great for travel and painlessly carrying a toddler or a newborn. We took this all over Europe with a 28 lb toddler and didn't hardly feel like she was even on our backs. Love all the adjustable straps to ensure a good fit and comfortable carry. Our 8 lb newborn also loves snuggling up in this carrier on our chests.

There are not words to describe how much I love my Boba baby carrier!! I got mine when My son was 7 months old. It is super easy to get him up on my back and to wear him up front!! It is really comfortable on my back and on my shoulders when wearing him up front as well.. It is also comfortable on my child since it puts him in a good sitting position, Does not dangle the child by his or her crotch.. What I love most about my boba is that I am able to position him and nurse him in it.. I pull the sleep hood up and let him nurse where ever I may be.. I can do my shopping , and he can eat comfortably in the boba and no one knows I am actually breastfeeding my baby under the sleep hood, He is happy cause he can still see out and eat at the same time which is hard under nursing covers.. My 3 year old loves to get to ride in it as well. It has foot straps to help get him in that proper sitting position. It holds up to a child weighinging 45 pounds. My 3 year old weighs 35 pounds now and it is still comfortable to wear him up on my back, no problems.. I highly recomend this carrier for babies 15 pounds and higher!!

Whenever we go for long walks with out two children we always have the youngest (just now a year) in an Ergo carrier. The eldest (about 3 and a half years old) walks for a bit but then desires to be carried. While we can carry her on our backs or shoulders for a bit it begins to get very tiresome. We had tried using other carriers, including a couple of different frame backpack carriers, and they all were either uncomfortable for us or left her with sore legs. Enter the Boba carrier! It is comfortable on our backs and shoulders. It distributes the weight appropriately onto our hips, and it does restrict our movement or get in the way as we walk. The foot straps are perfect because they give her feet something to rest in and support her hips. Her legs never fall asleep in it and she can see everything just fine!

I started using the Boba 2G Baby Carrier (I had the Organic Pine) when my baby was about 5 months old. I wore her on my front for several months. The carrier is incredibly easy to adjust (just a few pulls on the straps) and even easier to put on (buckle around the waist, and pull the straps up over my shoulders like a backpack). My daughter loved being in the Boba - she was snuggled up close to me, and it kept her safe. It's easy to breastfeed in the Boba too! I also like that the Boba SUPPORTS her spine, and keeps her in the natural position - she doesn't dangle like other more common carriers dangle babies like the Baby Bjorn). Once she was a little older, I started wearing her on my back - and life changed! I was able to go grocery shopping, run to the store on a quick errand, or go on long walks...and she was able to see over my shoulder while still being attached to me. I can not imagine NOT having a baby carrier to wear my baby. The Boba is a great carrier - the fabric is organic, the carrier is comfy for both the baby and the person wearing the baby, and the weight limit means you can wear your toddler too - it even has foot straps to help support the child's feet! Highly highly recommend it!

Background: Carriers I have used= jeep, kelty, baby bjorn, snuggly, sleepy wrap, infantino sling. Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of the sleepy wrap baby carrier (made by the same company) and have used it with both of my children from the time they were born. I purchased the Boba for a trip with my 3 year old son (35lbs) and 11 month old daughter (22lbs), because my son is just a tad too big to carry in the sleepy wrap (I have two but don't want to stretch them out before the next baby comes!). My conclusion, the Boba is GREAT for bigger kids (that's what it is designed for) but it's too bulky for my tastes for small babies. Unlike the sleepy wrap, you can't just ball it up and cram it in a diaper bag, and it's not very sleek while you are wearing it. That said, you will likely NEVER find a big kid carrier that is more comfortable for you AND your child. My son is of average height and he sits very comfortably on my back. The stirrups awesome and keep his legs from going numb from dangling on long trips. I carry my daughter in the front and she seems very comfortable as well. As for my comfort, the carrier keeps my son close enough to my back that I don't have to lean forward to compensate for his weight like I did with the back tie in the sleepy wrap. It feels like he is just an extension of me so I don't feel off balance or anything. The fabric is extremely sturdy while still comfortable. It isn't "plush" which I am glad of because I think it will definitely stand the test of time. I would describe this carrier as a work horse with style. Bottom Line: If you are looking for a versatile carrier that you can use front or back with older infants to toddlers for long or short trips, then the Boba Carrier is exactly what you are looking for and I would highly recommend it. However, if you have a new little baby, go with the sleepy wrap for now and put the Boba on her 1st birthday wish-list!
