This microphone got me started into voice acting. Most forums I've encountered say that condensers are ideal. But since I have very little sound isolation in my room I needed a dynamic microphone to block out background noise. Any loud sounds that do go on sound far away. So any computer noise isn't picked up. Voice sound crisp and clean. I was really surprised by the quality of this mic for the price, would definitely recommend this mic to anyone looking to start out in recording themselves. Really holds its own against other high end mics.
