I actually didn't purchase the iRobot Roomba Vacuum Cleaning Robot for Pets simply because I have a some what small pet. I chose it because I have 3 crazy children! Not only that but, I need all the help I can get around here. It is definitely quite expensive but, so is maid service. I was a bit more impressed with it than I thought I was going to be. It works really well on carpets, linoleum and wood floors, and it doesn't disturb anyone with a loud sound. I like to set it ahead of time and have the house all vacuumed by the time I get home. I love how it listens to me the first time so to speak. It came with a filter bag and a self charging station as well. This particular vacuum has a dirt sensory technology of some sort that will detect dirtiest areas and devotes more time to those areas. I love how well it cleans but, I must say, this vacuum is not a replacement for sweeping and vacuuming all together. It will not keep it clean enough to where you won't have to clean at all. It makes for a great in between cleaning method though. It also would make a great, slightly expensive gift.

I love my Roomba! I've been in love ever since I bought my very first Roomba ages ago and I've loved each and every model I've purchased since then. This is one of my favorites though. Since it is specifically designed for pets it has an extra large waste bin which means you don't have to empty it mid cycle, which is very nice. Even with cat hair and litter and just regular dust and debris it usually does not need to be emptied mid cycle. This does an amazing job of cleaning. It gets litter out of the carpet beautifully. I use a cedar litter which tracks horribly but this does an amazing job of picking it all up. It also picks up cat hair, sand, pine needles, anything that happens to be tracked into the house. I love that this goes under and around furniture so everything gets cleaned. It does tend to get stuck on cords so I make sure that all my cords are either secured to the wall with little clips or put under rugs so they are out of the way. There is a scheduling feature on this which is fun, although I don't use it. You can pick a certain time and day (or days) for Roomba to automatically run and then return to its base. This would be awesome if you'd like it to clean while you are at work or otherwise out of the house. I personally don't use it since I do have animals and want to supervise Roomba. If you have pets and want a new Roomba this is an excellent option.

I LOVE my Roomba and wouldn't know what to do without it! I run it every day and it really helps to keep up with all the pet hair. We have a dog that sheds terribly and the Roomba really does a great job of picking up the hair without getting clogged up. We have another Roomba that is not the pet hair model and it often gets clogged up with pet hair, but the pet hair model does a fantastic job. Maneuverability I push the start button and put up the invisible walls and Roomba cleans the whole room without missing a spot. It senses the walls, furniture and even the stairs, Ease of Maintenance Roomba is very easy to clean. I empty mine every time it runs and clean the brushes and filter. It is very easy to clean and only takes a few minutes to do. Much easier than getting out the big vacuum every day. Suction Performance Roomba picks up all the dirt, dander and pet hair without any trouble. My carpets have never been cleaner. Versatility Roomba is good for the hardwood floors, linoleum and the carpets as well. It runs well on all surfaces and cleans great. Design Roomba is a perfect design and I love the pet hair model. It does a fantastic job. Durability I have had my Roomba for several years and it runs every day and has had no problems. I love my Roomba!

we got this as a gift I honestly thought it would never do anything much at all. I soon found out this was probably the best way to vacuum. It was super simple to set up and use. It cleans well except it does tend to skip corners but this was to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised to see it did a better job than I do myself. I would definitely replace this unit if it ever fails, I have grown very fond of it's services. It's very quiet, and I must say it's sort of fun to watch as it glides around doing my floors for me, while I lounge or write. I must admit I have lost rack of more than one television program watching this vacuum work. Maneuverability The vacuum moves around effortlessly as long as you give it reasonable areas to work in. Ease of Maintenance I found it a little clumsy to clean but not difficult. Suction Performance It performs awesomely within reasonable household limits. Versatility I consider it very versatile it runs itself. Design The futuristic appearance of this unit speaks well of it's design. Durability The vacuum seems to be very durable as I haven't destroyed it yet, and I have to admit i have unintentionally kicked it across a room a few times.

My Roomba makes my life quite a lot easier as most of our house is tile floor and is impossible to keep clean with 3 kids, a dog, and a cat. I am able to turn the Roomba on before we leave in the mornings and it will go all around the 1st floor (where we've set the sensors up) and it will go back to its charging station when it's almost out of juice. Only problem is that it will sometimes get stuck on something (sometimes chair legs or a rug) so we occasionally come home and it hasn't been able to clean. I can't use it as my only sweeping/vacuuming device, but it's a perfect assistant! Maneuverability Like I said above, it's generally great, but it does get stuck fairly easily. Maybe it needs more rugged wheels for offroading. ha. But, overall it does a fantastic job getting around the house, under the couch, under the bookcases, etc. Ease of Maintenance Fairly easy to clean the brushes and empty the reservoir. Suction Performance Can't really say for sure, but considering how much gets in the reservoir after running it, I'd say it has a pretty good suction. We use it on tile and carpet. Versatility We use it on carpet and tile and it works great! Durability I can't say anything specific about this model as we haven't had any problems, but our older models did run into some issues. Hoping this one lasts longer.

I bought this at the suggestion of my husband. He nagged me to get this unit for three years, and though I think he thought that the unit was cooler than our other vacuum, was the true reason that he wanted me to purchase the unit! I found that the vacuum was easy to get out of the box, and the sensors were easy to maneuver around my living room and dining room as well. I find that it picks up quite a bit of fur balls, or as I like to call them, my pets tumbleweeds from around my floor. The unit also got a lot of the fur and dust around the floorboards and trim in my living room as well; this is a great advantage for myself and my mother, who lives with me, as we both have issues with our knees and back respectfully. I love the design of the machine, and also think its cool that my cats chase it about the room as well! I have found that since using the unit, I have fewer allergies and sinus issues that I previously had, and with having dark hardwoods, this unit keeps me floors, manageable and lovely!

I can't even imagine life in our household without the Roomba. It is the most effective and fun way of vacuuming your entire house. I always had back pain, vacuuming with a regular handheld vacuum cleaner. But never again thanks to my Roomba. We can even leave the house to go shopping and come back to a beautifully vacuumed house. It is easy to clean and very easy to use. It gets EVERYTHING. I have pretty long hair and we also have a cat, so there's a lot of hair and fur. The Roomba takes care of that. You can use it on carpet or hard floors, it works everywhere. It detects stairs, so it won't fall down the stairs. You can also get a "virtual wall" for it and set it up anywhere. Roomba will not go past the laser line. It is also pretty affordable and you won't regret this purchase, I promise! After Roomba is done it will even drive itself back to the docking station and charge itself up. :)
