It really works! You must absolutely follow the directions closely for this diet to be effective. I went on the 500 calorie diet and I successfully lost 8 pounds the first week, and there after about 4 to 5 pounds a week. The ending result was 26 pounds, but hey 26 pounds in 5 weeks feels pretty good! You will lose weight in your stomach first. I noticed the top of my abs reduced then the bottom. I must start off by saying that I did not follow there instructions and just used it as a supplement to a lower calorie diet. After hearing some positive reviews from women I work with I decided to try this. One of the ladies I work with actually gets injections of HCG and has seen weight loss. Another lady I work with said she used these drops with out changing her diet and had lost 20 pounds! I on the other hand could barely get past the horrible taste. I did reduce my calorie intake, but they want you to survive on 500 calories a day! That to me seems ubsurd! Wouldn't decreasing your calorie count to only 500 a day be extreme enough to shed at least a few calories (and then possibly taking the chance that it would throw your body into starvation mode). Also, after reading reviews online about taking HCG about possible side effects with pregnancies later I decided that this just was not an option for me.

I ordered these drops online hoping that they would help me lose about 10 to 20 pounds. Well I was taking it a few times daily like recommended even in spite of the horrible taste, and I did not seem to be having any bit of an easier time losing my unwanted weight. I did only take them for a few weeks, but by that point they should have done something for me, but were not. The one thing that I did notice, was that I had a little more energy, but not enough to do anything towards helping me lose weight or have me want to go and exercise the weight off. I will not give these drops another try or recommend them to others as part of an effort to help lose weight.

My daughter and I decided to try the HCG Diet drops after numerous other diet attempts. We did lose 10 pound the very first week and that was without exercise. You do feel hungry at first because you are on a very low calorie diet, but after about the 5th day you don't feel hungry. We are on week 3 and have lost more weight with this diet than any other and I feel that we have also learned to eat healthier and smaller portions. I have tried alot of diets and they all had alot to do with exercise. I know that we all need to exercise but, if we all did that we wouldn't need a diet.
