Had it for six years now, and it is still going Strong as Ever!!

I bought this amazingly powerful convection oven over four years ago, tried it out then, loved it, have been using it from time to time, and it is STILL going as strong as ever!!! The extremely powerful Halogen glass-encased heating element lights up to an attractive orange glow, heats up really fast, and combined with the powerful fan, a powerful curculation of super-heated air is created!! To quickly sear and cook roasts, steaks, poultry and chops. Baking cakes and breads is also a cinch! I use this unit to help as a supplement to the regular stove oven and even alone in the summer to help eliminate a torridly hot kitchen. It's a doll!! Healthier cooking is acheived by unhealthy grease draining away from the meat and into the glass drip tray. Can't say enough about this unit, except that it is great!!! ~Daquan13.

I bought the flavorwave oven a few months back,, I always wanted the nuwave oven and for a cheaper price... It is well worth it.. I love it, meals come out super juicy and well cooked.. I was simply amazed at what this product can do.. If you want a product that is cheaper, yet works just as great. Buy the flavorwave.. I'm going to get another one for my grandmother for christmas

Indispensable!

I recieved my first Flavor Wave Oven a couple of years ago.  This product does everything that the infomercial says it did!  My Grandchildren loves the way it does the frozen french fries, and chicken nuggets. It also cooks  steaks, and other meats  from frozen to finished. I couldn't do without my Flavor Wave Oven! Highly recommend this product!

It is GREAT.

Great item that lives up to its advertising. It even cooks fish for me of which I am clueless. I could not be happier about its performance. This is my second Flavorwave that I purchased.  My parents bought one on my recommedation and are equally happy with the Flavorwave.

Funny tasting food.

I bought this particular item in a yard sale I remember seeing the commercials for this product and how everything seemed to just come out so awesome. So here are my thoughts on this product. For starters, I bought it used so by the time I got it, most if not all of the markings were gone. Good think I was able to find pics on the Internet to try to figure out what the different settings were. I imagine that after a few years the markings rub off if you clean it too much. Good thing that the Internet exists, otherwise I wouldn't know how to use the thing. Second, I don't know exactly why, but I wasn't completely satisfied with the food. It was cooked, but the burgers just didn't taste as good as they usually do. Maybe it's because some of the fat dripped off of them, or maybe it was just because it was essentially cooked by a huge heat lamp. Actually, speaking of that, this thing was HUGE! It had to be kept in my basement because it didn't fit anywhere else. I guess the size is good if you want to make a while chicken, but I soon realized it was just too darned big. Because it wasn't kept in my basement, it wasn't regularly used and in the end, it found it's way to the garbage. Overall, I do not recommend. Too big, food cooks but tastes funny.

For healthy food chose the Flavorwave Oven

I used the Flavorwave Oven alot at first, because I was excited to try a new way to prepare quality food for my family. I like the fact that I do not have to use the huge oven for cooking a small chicken. However , one of the cons about the Flavorwave Oven is that you cannot cook things together if you want to really taste the individual taste of each food you are cooking. It is like storing foods together, they kind of end up with the same flavor. I have a fairly large family and so items are moved around alot by different people and so the product has suffered wear and tear and really did not withstand the effects of being moved around or handled without precious care very well. Perhaps for a couple who will use it sparingly it would be fine.

I've had my Flavorwave for over 18 months and had no problem with it.It really works if you have a small family (we are 2) or you only cook a few things at a time.Cooks frozen foods, great for reheating and I love the fact that I can cook bacon without making a mess in the kitchen and there's almost no smell of bacon! I use it to cook things fast especially when I receive guests at home,I hate when the whole house smells like food for days!(with the FW is not the case) I love making french fries in the fw no grease and cooks in minutes. I tried baking and it doesn't work well, burns on top and doesn't cook inside. I love my fw,easy to cook, and clean. It's made with super resistant materials! I store in inside my oven and let me tell you...One day I needed to preheat the oven to 350 and forgot about my fw inside! after 20 minutes I smelled something and found my fw inside my oven! The plasic base where you sit the bowl was 50 % gone but the rest was just fine, even the power cord! After that horrible episode I still can use my fw with NO PROBLEM,I just sit it over my cutting board to make it safe.Another cons: no replacement for my melted base! Over all; I would recommend this to a friend and I'd buy another one if I need it.

flavorwave oven the best thing I ever bought

5

when I first purchased this item I was a single mom of 2 and working all the time so I didnt have time to plan a supper menu. this gave me the way to have good suppers everynight even when I hadn't remembered to take anything out of the freezer, you can take a frozen piece of meat or chicken and cook it in less time and it retains all the juices without cooking in a fry pan and have it get tough and dry, baked potatoes are the best and you dont have to worry about them drying out.  now a single woman I love it even more, I can cook a great meal in a spur of the moment and it taste better than any other way of cooking even if it was fresh from the butcher. I cant live without it. it is a must have to any and everyone...If I could only have one kitchen item this would be the one, even my microwave gets less use than my Flavorwave oven it is worth the small price as you save money, time and that is only the tip of the iceburge... I hope this helps I wish I would have had one when they first came out....

The FlavorWave Deluxe Oven Is NOT durable!!!

1

I purchased this product and truly was happy at first! I set the timer to cook chicken parts when they were done afterwards the motor would only work for short periods of time. I called the company I rec'd what appeared to be a NEW MOTOR which ended up during the exact same thing. Because I went through (2) motors I became disenchanted; I discovered that MOISTURE built up seems to be the cause!!! IN MY OPINION THIS PRODUCT IS MADE FOR SHORT PERIODS OF MONITORED COOKING!!!!!!! It seems to buildup STEAM and causes the motor(s) to malfunction. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND.

Flavorwave is pretty good for the money.

I use my flavorwave at least two or three times a  week. Is pretty good about cooking partly frozen foods. A couple bad things are the racks that you place the food on go really fast and the numbers that tell you the temp and time rub off very easily. But other than those two things I would recommend it. Cooks well and in less time than my oven. Doesn't heat up the kitchen like my oven does. Browns the food up very well. Easy to clean. Overall very nice.
