The new pizza is awful. The crust is like cardboard and thicker than the original. There is hardly any taste to it anymore and definitely no more garlic. It tasted just like any other frozen pizza now. I will not buy again which is sad because the original was so good.

My family regularly enjoys pizza--sometimes we make it ourselves at home, sometimes we order from a pizza place, and on rare occasions we get frozen pizza from the store. We don't get frozen pizza regularly, though, because it's usually not the greatest tasting. I was given the chance to try the Dr. Oetker Ristorante frozen pizza because I'm a BzzAgent and was given a coupon for a free pizza to try. I wasn't expecting too much but was hoping to be happily surprised. The thing that I really liked about this pizza is that it has generous amounts of spinach as well as cheese. The spinach looks much fresher than the vegetables typically do on a frozen pizza, so that impressed me. I also think the pizza is more flavorful than a standard frozen pizza. One thing to be aware of is that the Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizzas have a thin crust, which some people might not prefer. My husband especially likes a somewhat thicker crust on his pizza, but he liked this one fine. The pizza also had a bit less cheese on it than pizzas we get from our local pizza parlor, but it still seemed flavorful and filling. We still plan to keep making our own pizza here at my house and ordering from our nearby pizza parlor, but this frozen pizza gives us another option. I like the idea of having a couple in the freezer for those days when my dinner plans don't pan out, so that I can just make a quick salad and serve the pizza for dinner. The serving size for the pizza is supposed to be three. For my family of four, I would serve two of the pizzas with a salad. For really big eaters, three might be more appropriate. Overall, I think this is a tasty pizza that puts a fresher spin on the convenience and money-saving aspects of frozen pizza.

I was recently given the opportunity to sample Dr. Oetker's Ristorante Pizza through coupons I received as a BzzAgent. I have tried Dr. Oetker's pizza before - it is usually one of the cheapest brands in my grocery store, and it is always on sale (bonus!). It is a thin crust pizza, which is not necessarily my favorite, but it is better for me than pan pizza, so it is a great alternative if you are trying to watch your weight or if you are just a pizza fanatic like me and like to eat way too much pizza! These pizzas are on the smaller side, but you could easily feed two people with one of these and some veggies on the side. Or you could be like me and just eat the whole thing! I like the spinaci flavor because it is like having spinach and artichoke dip on a flatbread... so yummy! I think this pizza would also make a great party appetizer... just cook it up and slice into squares. I've also tried their mozzarella flavor, which is very good - not too much sauce, which is good because my husband hates sauce. Also tried the fungi and speciale flavors and those were pretty good too. Overall, I would say if you enjoy thin crust pizza or you are watching your grocery budget, give these pies a try. The best part is, they're so cheap you don't feel bad if you try it and don't like it! I've never had any trouble cooking the pizzas in my oven,. as a previous reviewer did - just placed them right on the oven rack and they cooked up fine.

I tried this pizza for the first time after I was given a coupon to try it for free. Before this coupon opportunity, I had never even heard of this product. As I searched for a grocery store that sold it, I realized that there is not too many that carries it. I won't say it was the worst frozen pizza, but I don't think it was something I would buy again. It does not have much sauce but I did get the variety with spinach and cheese which was good as I figured at least the spinach has some nutritional value. I did like that it was a thin crust which I do prefer. It suggests that it is a serving for three people, but I really think I could have eaten the whole pizza by myself, which I did not do, as I shared it with one other person. I enjoyed the taste, it had a light taste, nothing overpowering but not filling. I might try another variety, given the chance.

I got some free samples of this pizza during a product promotion. The pizza tastes good but it wont cook completely in my oven no matter how long I cook it without burning it but the cheese is not melted and I have to put it into the microwave. There is little sause and thin crust which is a nice touch. If they could of added Ricotta chese it would have been way better.
