I bought an old house that has an original early 1900's clawfoot bathtub and decided I was going to re-do the bathroom, so I went to the usual stores looking for a replacement faucet for the 3 3/8" hole pattern in the inside wall of the tub. After a fruitless search and blank stares from the salespeople, I found www.clawfootdesigns.com and found a plethora of vintage plumbing supplies. I chose an Ahqua Clawfoot Bathtub faucet that has a gooseneck tub filler a handshower with the option on adding an enclosed shower ring, I was ecstatic. I chose an Old World Bronze finish that looks like weathered brass, awesome! The faucet installed on the tub quite easily, has modern, ceramic disc valves, so no leaks and looks likes it has been there since the house was built. The handshower has such a wonderfully refreshing flow rate, it's like getting a massage. The joys of taking a bath are back with Ahqua!
