Zolowear makes a great ring sling if you have the money to spend on it. They come with instructions including a DVD and they are beautifully and thoughfully made. Ring slings are designed to be used with small babies up to older babies (but not toddlers in my opinion). I used a Zolowear ring sling with my second child quite a bit, especially when he was a newborn and a young baby. Ring slings give you the versatility to keep baby close and also breastfeed discreetly. They are fairly easy on your back when used properly. Zolowear does a pretty good job of explaining how they work. Zolowear offers some interesting patterns and such which I appreciated. I actually waited for them to go on sale and didn't pay full retail price which is quite expensive. However, if you are into baby wearing, you should definitely have a good ring sling. I love that the Zolowear ring sling had a little pouch to carry of emergency supplies, it also has a kind of built in nursing cover. I, personally, found the sling pretty easy to nurse in. If you want to pay for quality and good instructions, I would go with this brand. Safety The nature of the item is the only reason I didn't give it a 5. Used correctly this is safe as safe can be. Great construction and directions. Baby's Comfort Babies love! Parents' Comfort Pretty darn good. Only second to a specifically ergo designed carrier. Ease of Use Slight learning curve but comes with great directions. Design Lots of cute designs. Durability Very durable material.

I can not gush about my Zolowear Ring Sling enough! I LOVE IT! I loved my first one so much, I bought two more! Now, why do I love my slings? My first son had severe acid relux SEVERE! He was not happy unless he was up on your chest. With the zolowear ring sling, I could carry him around in the tummy to tummy hold... he was happy and usually asleep and I was hands free to actualy get things done around the house! I wore him everywhere. Why carry around a heavy bulky carseat when you can just slip your tiny cute little baby in the sling and be off! This also keeps strangers from coming up and touching your baby! LOL They are less likely to put there hands all over him/her if they are attached to you (or so I've found). The zolowear ring sling is very easy to breastfeed in as well. You can just slip the baby down start nursing. You can use the "tail" for extra coverage if you so desire. Most people will think you are just carrying around a sleeping baby all the while you are actually nursing! These slings wash very nicely in the washing machine. I hang dry mine and they dry quickly. I've had my sage cotton sling for 5+ years and it still looks new! I also have black and kahki solarviel ring slings by Zolowear...excellent for hot climates or the pool!! Overall - I can not say enough good things about these slings! They are life savers!

This sling is a really good starter ringsling however I am going to list a few of it's drawbacks first. The shoulder on this sling is fairly stiff and may or may not work for you it didn't for me but that doesn't affect my view of the carrier because it is well constructed in every aspect and ringslings are very finicky. It can be a real bear to adjust. I mean REAL BEAR! It was a total Pain In The A** but this sucker ain't going anywhere when you do ajust it.. no slipping completely grippy fabric that hangs on really well. Besides that it has pretty cute prints but the fabric can leave something to be desired on some so I recommend asking beforehand if it will sopften up in the wash because you don't want to get and use a sling then hate the way the fabric feels because if you don't like the way it feels or looks chances are you probably aren't going to wear it. At any rate this one gets 4 stars because it's a good quality item by people by make good quality items and care about your babies safety :)

I just got my new zolowear in the mail last night!  I couldn't be happier!  I've been a loyal Bjorn wearer and recently inherited a nojo ring sling, but have finally graduated to zolowear!  The fabric is gorgeous and I love the fact that it has a little "give" thanks to the 3% spandex.  The pocket is an awesome bonus too.  I can imagine all sorts of goodies that I will be able to stash in there- wipes, a diaper, keys, money, pacifier, etc.  The only suggestion I would make would be that a loop to attach a pacifier too would be wonderful.  The sling also comes with a very helpful DVD to make baby wearing for a newbie, practically a no-brainer.  Don't be intimidated by the fact that this sling comes with a dvd though- you can totally figure it out on your own.  The DVD is just useful if you'd like to learn different carrying positions, etc.  I also love the fact that this sling is very compact and can easily be tossed into my diaper bag (unlike the bulkier Nojo).  Overall, I am very satisfied and I highly recommend the zolowear!
