Standard Drip Yuban is Hip

I'm a coffee drinker and proud of it! Sure I like specialty roasts but hey in this economy with a large family who can afford that all of the time? I've tried everything out there in a can, and yes we need a can! With seven coffee drinkers in a house plus a revolving door of a guests I make anywhere from three to five pots a day! Store brands are typically best left at the store. And I won't name, names but there is a very well known company that claims there's is the best part of waking up, but I think that's only if you like high priced dirt in a cup! By far Yuban is the best it is finely ground so you get a Rich Bold taste. And it is roasted to perfection. I took a can of Yuban to a church function and made a large pot of coffee for a conference. The congregation had been used to drinking. That other brand which shall remain nameless (Fold----). I received complements every time I served a cup that it was the best coffee they had drank! A lovely woman that heads up the kitchen asked me if I saw it on sale would I mind to bring more to keep the kitchen stocked! I mean that speaks for itself you don't get a better taste test than that!

One of the better affordable coffees

I will admit to not being a fan of coffee that is ground before it's even packaged. I'm a total grind the morning of person at home. But that's not always practical in certain settings, Sunday mornings at church. When I was broke, I purchased several different brands of inexpensive ground coffees because I couldn't afford anything else. Yuban quickly stood out to me as the best of the lot and was the one I stuck with until I had the money to purchase the type of coffee I really prefer. Yuban has a good flavor with a relatively low level of bitterness compared to other similarly priced coffees. I was so happy to see that the church is now using Yuban instead of Folgers and I have indeed noticed a huge improvement in the taste of the coffee they are serving. I would definitely recommend Yuban as the brand to go with if you are in similar financial circumstances as I was some time ago or if you are purchasing coffee to be used for larger functions.

My entire family's brand for 35+ years

This is the brand of coffee that's been brewing in all kitchens belonging to my family members as far back as I can remember. My father went through a nasty divorce & financial crisis a few years back & this brand is one of the things he would NOT budge on. It's Yuban or nothing in his house. He was willing to cut off his cable tv, but not change brands to save a few bucks. I think that speaks volumes. They also have a California Blend & it tastes great. The coffee smells amazing. It's smooth & never has that burnt coffee bean taste I've detected in some other bargain brands. If I buy a different brand due to a sale, I regret it pretty much right away. It's just not the same. It doesn't wake me up the same way Yuban seems to. It's rich, smooth, and in the 35+ years my family has been buying it, consistent! (Can't say that about a lot of products!) it's also a great value if you pick it up at costco/sam's club/walmart/target and even a drug store occasionally has an awesome sale in it.

Yuban coffee is great

Although I'm not a huge coffee drinker, I do find it necessary to keep me going during the work day. I received a Keurig as a gift and found that even on sale, the K cups can be pricey. After looking online for a while, I came across Yuban coffee. Before even looking at the reviews, I saw the price was very reasonable. After seeing such a great price, I was very happy to hear how good this coffee was. I am very happy I purchased this. I leave it in the fridge and take it out whenever I want to make a cup (keeping it in the fridge helps preserve the flavor). For me, it has been a great alternative to purchasing K cups considering it is much cheaper and it lasts much longer. I only use one or two teaspoons for each batch. I place them into the coffee filter in the K cup and pour the water and it's ready! I have not tried this coffee on a standard coffee maker but I'm sure you will get the same results, if not better.

The best coffee I have ever had

5

I have had many coffee brands in my day but i just recently bought a can of Yuban and i am in love with it!  It is flavorful, smooth and has such a deep, satisfying, rich flavor.  I would now make this coffee only and have left Dunkin and Starbucks' s alone.  This doesn't need creamer or milk to make for a smooth, creamy coffee - it already is all of that.  I believe this is the brand my mother used when I was growing uo - but I never thought to try it with all of the other brands on the market.  Up to now - for home - I was buying Folgers, Mills Brothers and Dunkin Doughnuts coffee - but one day my friend bought some of this for my house and i have never looked back since.  It is a medium to fine grind and I like my coffee a bit on the mild side - this delivers for a coffee lover that is looking for something smooth, light and falvorful but not bitter, dark and heavy.  i would recommend this to all coffee lovers on a daily basis instead of the expensive coffee vendors that we have all come to recognize.  This is a bit more expensive than the average folgers for home - but well worth it.

Great coffee at a great price

I started buying Yuban because my regular brand hardly ever goes on sale, and, times being what they are, I have to shop for value.  Yuban had a great price at my regular store, so I decided to try it.  It's great tasting coffee, and everytime I go to by another can of coffee, it is the lowest price on the shelf.  Needless to say, it is fast becoming my first choice.
