I loved the smoothness, non bitter taste of this tea, especially for being a green tea! It was also extremely filling which I'm not use to in teas! Usually I have to have them with a cracker or bread and I was able to just drink this tea and fill satisfied.
A really good green tea
I've tried many of Yogi's teas - it's my favorite tea brand. I also really love green tea, and have tried a few dozen varieties, many of which are not that great-tasting. The antioxidants in this tea, along with the lower amount of caffeine (than coffee), give me energy, but at the same time keep me feeling mellow (that probably sounds contradictory, but it's the best way I can put it!). Another bonus is that I can drink a few cups in a short period of time without getting that jittery, queasy feeling that coffee gave me.
Each bag is individually wrapped to ensure freshness and makes it a convenient tea to drink at work. The tea has a really nice, mellow taste with a hint of blueberry that's not sweet or overpowering.
The only negative comment I have about this tea is that it really didn't seem to supress my appetite, although admittedly that's not an easy thing to do. However, I read others' reviews on Amazon before purchasing the tea, and it seems to work as an appetite supressant for other people. All in all, the many positives of this tea outweigh the negative.
Really does suppress appetite and provide energy!
I love having a nice variety of tea to choose from in the morning. I recently finished a box, so I went to the store looking for something new. It seemed like I had been drinking the same tea flavors for quite a while and I wanted to try a new flavor. I normally prefer citrus or mint flavored teas, but my quest to lose weight and my love for tea seemed to find each other in a new product: **Yogi Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life**.
***Yogi says: ***"Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life is specifically formulated not only to support healthy weight loss, but also to help give you the energy you need to maintain an active lifestyle while dieting."
**Yogi Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life **is/claims to:
- Help suppress appetite
- Help provide extra energy
- Made with organic hibiscus
- All natural
I was a little skeptical about the claims to suppress appetite, but I thought it was worth a shot anyways. It was after all a new flavor of tea which is what I was looking for in the first place, so if it didn't suppress my appetite, I wasn't going to be too disappointed.
I have drank this tea several times now and have had the same results with each cup. My appetite has been suppressed for a little while and it did give me energy. It doesn't suppress my appetite all day, but it does do a good job for about an hour or two. Since I don't drink coffee very often, I am easily affected by caffeine. The green tea and ginseng-eleuthero extract gave me just the right amount of energy. This tea has a mild blueberry flavor, but nothing too exciting. I love that the tea bags are individually wrapped so that they stay fresh.
*Each tea bag contains approximately 35mg of caffeine, as compared to approximately 90mg in 8 oz of coffee.
