I bought the Winix Air Purifier for our bedroom because I wasn't able to sleep with all of the dust due to allergies. I set this up, and the first night I slept so soundly. This machine really filters dust, and attracts dust already in the air. You can see the dust particles migrate toward the machine when it is on. I loved it so much we bought a second one for downstairs! I like the fact that it is easy to move, especially when you have people over, or someone brings an animal over to your house. It also eliminates odors in the room, which is so helpful if someone smokes. When I turn it off, I notice a difference within a few minutes. It's so nice having air circulate in the room, it keeps it feeling clean and fresh. This machine is so easy to use, and it has a remote in case it's far away while you are sleeping. I turn off the Plasma setting while I'm sleeping because it does have a little noise to it. But without the plasma on, it's a white noise that helps me fall asleep.
