This refrigerator replaced an older freezer on top fridge on bottom model and I can't believe we lived this long without it! I was hesitant to make this purchase since it was a more expensive model but it has served us well. I have never had an issue with food in the back of the refrigerator freezing but have always enjoyed foods that are cooled to correct temperatures. The thermometer inside helps me to know that everything is working properly. The lighting inside of the fridge is fabulous and makes it easy to see everything inside. Because it uses multiple lights you don't have to worry about one item blocking the light to the whole fridge. The French doors make it easy to see everything at once and it is easy to store longer platters or dishes that wouldn't normally fit in a standard fridge. I was worried we wouldn't have enough freezer space but the freezer is a decent size and a deep freeze in the garage works well for more items since we have a large family.
