This Whirlpool GC3SHEXN 23 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator is great overall. I previously owned the same Whirlpool refrigerator for about fifteen years, so it was about time to replace it and get a new one. First of all, Whirlpool is a trustworthy brand. I have not had any major issues with their products and I have owned several. This Whirlpool Side-by-Side Refrigerator is also considered an upgrade for my household because our previous refrigerator was one of those that was separated horizontally instead of vertically. The freezer was on the top section and the refrigerator was on the bottom half. I like the side-by-side arrangement much better because there is much more space, it is easier to organize items, and it's easier to reach the items as well. I also love the water and ice dispenser on the outside!

Although it has a somewhat limited freezer capacity it has a water dispenser and an ice cube maker so the space is well used and the freezer stays cold for a long while when the power goes down for a little while. and the fridge space is rival of the traditional design. and it even fits in the same space as te traditional fridge does but uises the space a whole lot better than a traditional. this just proves to me that some traditions were meant to to be changed in the long run. It is simjple to open and the water dispenser doesnt leak around like some other machines do and there isnt much to improve upon. The side by side design gives a distinct advantage on the freezer side and allows even the little children of the house access to the freezewr for their snacks. And i cant even hear the thing running its so quiet.

Overall, this refrigerator is a good product. Both the refrigerator and the freezer have ample space. There is more room in this freezer than there is in a traditional freezer on top model. The ice maker is fast and efficient. We've never had to worry about running out of ice. The noise level for the refrigerator is kept to a minimum as well. This model is also easy to clean, both inside and out. The shelves are removable and easy to take out and put back in. The outside is not stainless, so you do not need a special cleaner to make sure the outside looks good. Another good feature is that the fridge will beep if you leave a door open too long, so if you walk away for a couple minutes thinking that you closed the door, it will let you know if you forgot or didn't close it all the way. The fridge does beep when the water filter needs to be replaced. The lower shelves/drawers are more difficult to see without bending over, so it is easier for products to spoil in those drawers.

We love this refridgerator. It works very well. It's roomy and modern looking alnd a great buy for the money. We aregoing to buy one for each vacation home that we own. We might even buy another one for our daughter. It is the best refridgerator we have ever used and it keeps things very, very cold. I love this so very much. We like to have a lot of meat and milk in the fridge and it fits in here very well. I love the grates, they are super modern looking. My grandkids have tried to get in this fridge, it's kind of funny. I will be using this fridge for a long time. IT IS WELL made and will be in our home until I retire if not longer. My husband loves this and says it's the best purchase we made.

I really love this black side by side fridge/freezer. I love all the space and its very rommy. I love that the door can handle the items I need top put in there. The freezer is huge, I love the sapce, compared to a top frezzer.

My husband and I met and married, blending 9 kids, six of which were still at home. We needed a bigger house. We bought a brand new home. We needed a refrigerator...to accommadate this family. A refreigerator that would not break the bank to purchase or to maintain. We did a lot of shopping around. We found this Whirlpool side by side. The size, the features, and the price persuaded us. We were sold. After having this appliance for two years. I can say we are so happy. The large interior design, makes stocking and storing easy. Theadjustable bins on the door make storng vaying sizes easy. This fearture is also great when it come time to clean the frig. As do the adjustable glass shelving, great to accommodate large items ...and easy clean after any mess. The freezer portion of this duo is equally awesome. I really liked going to the grocery store loading up...and coming home stashing the frozen foods in the easy to stash and easy to find freezer. It was roomy enough to meet the needs of our large family. This refrigerator also is  an energy saver model. So it works well for a large family. Saves money to oprate and LOOKS GREAT. Makes my new kitchen look sleek. Great frig. I love it.

Whirlpool always makes a good product I know that they have been in business for almost 100 years .  I believe that whirlpool started out making washer/dryers.  Well trust your instincts they have done it again.  This is a fun refridgerator.  I like the vegatable crisper area,  which is neglected whenever there is an indoor ice maker.  Anyway,they crisper inside the refridgerated section of the whole sysyem is big and very easily accessible,  but the thing that really got me was that there is a frozen food (pizza,burritos) section built in this refridgerator.  They really thought of everything -here. This entire system may run a little expensive,but it is American ,you have to support it.  Anyway this refridgerator system is very quiet it is smaller than the alotted spot in mt house ,but tall enought for a six foot tall person,  which is great.  Whirlpool has really got something with this refridgerator.

i really enjoy my new refrigerator my landlord briught me over right when i first moved in to my new place only 2 doors down from old place and i had the old fashoined ice box the small old fashioned i say does not defrost ..This one doesn't need it done had it for over 6 moths havent had to yet ..its frost free lol I love my ice machine crushed or whole Mkkes my pop so much more delicious and i have so much room to put in freezer and refrigerator ..I t also saves on my electric bill as well ..So get this one you will love it just as much as i do mine !!!!

My Whirlpool side-by-side refirgerator/freezer came with my house so I can't really say what kind of value it is for the money.  It's a pretty good refrigerator.  It has two drawers in the bottom, one of which you can adjust the coolness levels for either meat or vegetables, which is a great feature for me.  All the shelves are glass and very easy to remove for cleaning.  Actually, everything pops out and in very easily for cleaning...that used to be a job I hated to do, but do it pretty often now since it is so easy.  The door has lots and lots of space to put things.  The refrigerator part of this is probably my favorite part...good bit of space, easy to clean, and adjustable.  It's the freezer part that i'm not that enthusiastic about.  Absolutely no space!  If you have a big turkey or ham you can forget putting it in there.  And the spaces in the door to store things are like 2 inches wide.  I do my grocery shopping every two weeks and I can never fit all my frozen goods in there.  Thanks goodness my grandfather gave us a small chest freezer!  Oh, and the ice maker broke about 6 months after we got it.
