Watch your ice maker . After six years of owing ours , we woke and found that the hose had disconnected and water was all over our kitchen floor and had leaked thru carpet in the living room which is behind we it stands. We turned the whole off to avoid this problem again.

The water drip tray under the filtered water and ice despencer is hard to clean. It is not removable from the fridge. Next time I would choose to have the icemaker in the door, to free up freezer space. Fridge is not wide enough to hold vegetable or fruit trays laying flat.

I have several mixed feelings about this fridge.  I LOVE the look of it, the size of it, and how the shelving is laid out.  The ice-maker and water dispenser are really nice to have.  The inside is nice and big and I have no problem storing things.  But, there are several things that I really don't like.  The drawers on the inside do not pull out and push in very easily!  You have to push it in "just right" to get it in all of the way.  My kids can never push them in right and several times I am having to pull them back out myself and push them back in the right way.  They get "stuck" a lot!  My second huge dislike is the ice dispenser.  It is very LOUD!!  I guess all ice makers are going to make noises, but this just seems really loud.  And my third dislike would be the filters.  They are SO expensive and you are supposed to replace them twice a year!  I've only been able to order them online, so there is no convenien place to just go out and buy them and then you have to pay for shipping and such - it's just a pain.  But overall, besides these few things, I do like everything else about the fridge!

I got the display model Whirlpool  Refrigerator model # ED5VHEXTB01. It had minimal damage but has worked great.  The only thing i wiuld change is where the light bulbs are in the freezer & the shelves that are slanted at the back as it does make you lose some space. Other than that i love everything about my refrigerator. It has worked great & no problems so far..Also I like the door shelves as they hold two liter bottles,so i don't lose room & they are much easier to store..Also the smaller meat drawer is great for cold cuts and cheeses, this is an added bonus and very handy. Drawers are a little hard to take out but they do clean very easily which is nice. No hard to reach spaces that are hard to reach. I havent had to replace the filter in the ice maker yet so I'm not sure how hard or easily that will be to do. The water/ice maker on the outside is very handy. It is nice not having to open the door on freezer every time to get ice & having cold water all the time is a plus. Over all i would recomend this refrigerator. I really like it alot..

I PURCHASED THIS REFRIGERATOR 5 MONTHS AGO AND I LOST ALL MY FOOD IN IT!  IT WAS RUNNING BUT WAS NOT GETTING COLD.  IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY BUT THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME A NEW ONE.  I HAVE BEEN 7 DAYS WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR AND THE REPAIRMAN CAN NOT GET HERE FOR 3 MORE DAYS TO REPAIR THE COMPRESSOR AND 5 OTHER ITEMS.
