Wheatables Nut Crisps are my new favorite crackers!

When I first saw these crackers, I didn't think I was going to like them because I don't like almonds (we got the almond kind). I was honestly suprised when I tried them because they tasted so good! They have the perfect amount of salt and taste AMAZING! They are hands down my new favorite cracker.

I found a coupon for Wheatables Nut Crisps around the same time that my local grocery store was having a sale.  I couldn't resist giving them a try. I purchased both the Roasted Almond flavor and the Toasted Pecan.  Both have a satisfying crunch, not too sweet but are more flavorful than most crackers on the market.  With a serving size of 16 crackers for 140 calories it's a healthy way to snack. Having a heartier consistancy than saltines or Ritz type crackers they don't break or crumble as easily. This makes them easy to eat in the car as a snack while travelling. And with 3 grams of protein and 1 gram of dietary fiber, they are more healthy than many other crackers on the market. May family prefers the Roasted Almond flavor.

I was born finkey maybe ocd who knows but it is almost impossible to get me to eat anything new. but I love crackers and I love pecans so when I saw crackers on my geocery shelf that had pecans and stone ground wheat I had to try them. these crackers taste great. I eat them like i would eat a candy bar right out the box or with cheese. they are pretty healthy for a cracker. no trans fats, low sugar low sodium 10 percent. maybe there are healthier crackers out there but none that taste this good and they are nice looking could be used for a party or bridal shower.

There are several coupons out there now for Wheatables Nut Crisps and I had to use the coupon.  I am very happy to say that it was so worth it and they are now on my grocery list.  I chose the roasted almond which are made with stone ground wheat.  I am always looking for nutritional snacks made with grains.  The important thing is that my family wants me to buy them again.  This snack has a great flavor and crunch.  You can see the almonds on the top of the cracker and the flavor is bold and makes you want more.  The balance between nut and cracker is perfect and sends you to the refrigerator to find the cheese mate or can be enjoyed just plain.  It is a sensible snack with low fat calories and can be added to any luchbox.  I have to say that I was plesantly surprised at the outstanding , delicious, and unique flavor.  I am telling everyone to purchase them and can not wait to try the other flavor, toasted pecan.

Awesome, packed with pecan flavor

While looking for some crackers for my kids I came accross the new Keebler Wheatables Nut Crisp Crackers. They come in Roasted Almond and Toasted Pecan flavors. I absolutely love pecans so couldn't help but be drawn to the Toasted Pecan flavor. The fact that they are made with stone ground wheat was an added bonus. These yummy crackers have a sweet yet sutble pecan flavor. You can actually see the ground pecans on the crackerss. I personally think they have just enough pecan flavor. These crackers probably aren't for everybody. They are more geared toward someone who prefers a sweeter type snack. The saltyness is very mild. Each 16 cracker serving has 140 calories, 7 grams of fat, and 1 gram of fiber. Overall not too bad for 16 crackers. Your sweet craving will be satisfied with these crunchy crackers. These are great alone but would also be great in hour favorite chip or cracker dip. I think I will try melting some ham and cheese on them next time.
